We have been going to Sabrosa very regularly over the last couple of months - they never disappoint. Fantastic food and really lovely waiting staff - I cannot rate them highly enough for value and consistently high performance.

Not very often a takeaway lives up to expectations but this is as good as it gets. So good I went back today to have lunch outside in the Autumn air. Support our local business and service providers at this difficult time because we do hospitality really well in Emerald Isle ...Let's keep it that!

Great food, great staff and gluten free options. My eyes were bigger than my belly so I went for the main size chicken wings. The portion was massive leaving me feel like the girl who turned into a giant blueberry in willy wonka chocolate factory. The coffee is of a high standard and pipping hot. Reasonable prices and free parking behind it.

Visited with my sister and was delighted we chose to eat here. The food was delicious, with plenty of options, staff were lovely, and service was very quick. The café itself is gorgeous, as it's bright and airy with loads of natural light.

Beautiful restaurant, great food - (well presented and very tasty), lovely staff and very reasonably priced Closes quite early in the evening, make sure to get there early, you won't be disappointed! Went with a party of 8 in Aug '19, all of us ordered from the set menu - 3 courses for €25. Normally when I see a set menu, I think of a limited selection of meals that seem inferior to a la carte...not here! We agreed that actually, if they were the same price, it was a toss-up between either of the menus! I had chicken wings, battered fish and chips and a walnut and chocolate brownie. All were excellent. Got to see/taste soup and caesar salad starters, cheese and bacon burger, pasta and steak mains and pear tart, meringue, crumble desserts. Everyone said that every dish was perfect! The only thing I had any regrets about was that the raspberry cheesecake was sold out - we got to try every other dessert between us and they were all divine! None of the group were drinking, so I can't comment on drinks. I have paid double the price of this meal for food that wasn't even as good and was perfectly happy with it. I would go back to this restaurant if I was anywhere near it in future!

Such amazing food! I had the beautiful Portuguese Piri Piri Chicken. It was sooooo delicious. The chicken was so tender. Then the most amazing desert, I have a wheat and lactose intolerance and for the first time I was able to have desert. It was the most amazing Berry Crumble. The staff also told us that if we rang in advance they could make me something special to suit my intolerance. The staff were so lovely too. We were served by Tiffany and she was so polite and courteous. Highly recommended. Especially for people with any intolerance, there so accommodating. 10 out of 10!

Cafe Sabrosa is a welcome addition to Athboy town .It is a modern and bright cafe. With a varied menu food is tasty and good value. Today I opted for quiche and it was served with three large portions of salad . There is a fine range of desserts and sweet treats too. My favourite meal in this lovely cafe is breakfast of poached eggs with avocado and toasted brown soda bread. Would recommend this cafe for breakfast lunch or just coffee + cake with a pal .
