S. C.We got a takeaway from here on Saturday night for my mams birthday and it was such a treat. Every person we dealt with was super polite and friendly. The food was so delicious, despite being a little cooler than ideal as the driver was stopped by traffic watch en route to us. The icing on the cake was that they packed a little bottle of Bru for my mams birthday which I thought was really thoughtful. We can’t wait for things to open up so we can experience this restaurant in person.
H. M.This is a lovely little place on Watergate street in Navan. It's always busy so book ahead. The food was lovely. I had the goats cheese and beetroot to start and it was massive! Then the peppered chicken for main. Dessert was cracked Easter egg. Very interesting and very sweet. I got a scoop of ice cream with it. Very cosy, staff were very attentive and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend paying it a visit 👍😊

J. F.Food is amazing, always to a high standard. Try to get in early for lunch because it's always busy at lunchtime. Service is top notch, always the same staff. Nice to see as it usually indicates that staff are treated well.
D. P.I have just turned vegan from vegetarian, and my 5 friends are all meat & fish eaters - and they were not disappointed either. Quite the opposite. The challenge for me as a new vegan when dining out, is I don't want to be a burden on a chef and the waiting staff. I mentioned when booking one of us was a vegan, which they advised was no problem, and told me they would call me that day to verify meal. True to their word, they called to check if I had any allergies. Upon sitting, I was incredibly surprised (and delighted!) to have the lovely waitress come to the table discreetly to show me a handwritten vegan menu with choice of 2 starters, 2 main course, and 2 vegan desserts! I opted for the mushroom starter cooked with beautiful flavours and a homemade sourdough bread - so so tasty, and lovely and light as a starter.
Next I opted for the Thai red curry with chickpeas, courgette and other veg, with mixed colour rice. It was simply beautiful - no tinned chickpeas here (if they were, I need to find out what brand, as I soak my own at home).
Finally the dessert was either a mango sorbet or a chocolate avocado mousse. It was Outstanding! A large portion so although I only ate half of it, it wasn't for lack of desire for it.
I was so impressed with the chef and waiting staff's special effort to accommodate me, so THANK YOU Room 8 team - outstanding meal, decor, ambiance.
I've already booked my next meal for December. Highly recommend. My omnivore friends were equally delighted with their fare - go here soon! 😀
p. p.Decent place, unfortunately bit small and overcrowded. Very noisy, you have to shout to the person sitting on the other side of the table. Nice enough food, well presented, served quickly without any delays. Nothing worth to die for tho. I believe 3 stars does the justice, it's an ok place

To say that every single ingredient is made with the utmost care and love is an understatement! It's healthy and homemade and it shows on the plate and on your palette.
Incredibly priced for what you are getting! Selection of coffees, hot and cold drinks (lovely OJ and fresh juices) and a good wine list.
Staff are super, you can tell they all love working there - they know what they are doing and what they are selling. Probably needs to expand to a bigger venue at some point, there is always a queue at the door at lunchtime!
If you haven't been then your missing out!

M. J.I was heading to different restaurant I found on Tripadvisor. But when I was passing it I saw nice interiors, logo and plenty of locals. It has to be good if there are so many locals. So I tried, and I wasn't disappointed. I got chicken wings bit spicy and 🌯. With extra sauce and leek it was soon good I came there again next time I was in Navan. I added it to my must visit when around places. Coffee is not so good though ;)
