Recently refurbished and looking great.. food has always been tasty, which has not changed, great variety well presented, portions are large but they have decided to stop half portions which is a shame. Staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

We have been here a few times now and the food is always very tasty and plentiful. The staff are very helpful the bar is clean as are the bathrooms. They have a good stock of craft beers. Definitely worth a visit.

Was in the area, phoned and was lucky to get in at short notice for lunch & seated in outdoor area. Staff very friendly and courteous and very conscious of COVID-19 regulations with all staff wearing face covering. Hand sanitiser on each table and each table was sanitised after each customer had left. Food was 5☆, tasted fabulous, nice sized portions and kids ate everything, which tells a story in itself. Linda runs an excellent establishment and wish her and her team continued success

Food is good but could be a little better. Had the bouritto for main, cheese long melted and almost hard, wasn't overly tasty. Bourittos are easy to make so no excuses given! Chicken wings for starter were delicious. Pints are very good!Large group and all mostly content, would just be nice if it moved up a level for tasty. The staff were lovely and friendly but the service was very slow we ordered just mains after 7 in the evening and it took over an hour to get them! We had a toddler with us and she sat in the highchair the whole time but by time we got our food she was falling asleep, we had to eat and run as we were expecting to be home by the time we only got the food. Most of the group got fish and chips they said it was lovely I just went for chowder and wings. The wings were lovely the chowder on the other hand was like a glumpy mess in a small bowl it was not a soup I even asked are you sure it's chowder, the fish in it wasn't fresh either I tried it but don't eat it! Would not recommend the chowder everything else was nice. Overall it's a nice cosy pub to eat it.

Nice place. I went for the cod and chips as the lounge staff stated 'it was the reason people come here'. It was nice fluffy and tasty with a nice batter. The portion was a bit on the small side, the chips over done. The side salad was very good and the staff very polite, friendly and helpful. With a bit more effort this place could be a real destination.

Cannot recommend the Wexford trifle desert highly enough, the prawns and chorizo starter is out of this world too.

Had dinner here this evening, starter between 2 of the artisan bread with pesto / hummus dips ...... fantastic so tasty and plenty for 2. Main courses we had burger in a bowl with goats cheese and pesto .... it was superb. Fantastic presentation fantastic flavour 10 stars . The second main course was the beer battered cod and chips ... also stunning ( my partner felt a bit too much batter ) but the presentation and taste again was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and attentive. Pricing was good, excellent really for the extra effort put into the dishes to make them a cut above the rest.

This is the perfect dog friendly establishment. Husband and I had most enjoyable meal here last night. Falafel starter between two, followed by sea bass with lobster sauce and delicious monkfish and prawns. Managed two fab deserts. Staff friendly and efficient service made it a most enjoyable. we were seated in the outdoor seating with cosy outside heater and comfy seats. Will have to visit again!

We had a fantastic evening in Neville’s, first with a lovely meal in the lounge (the chowder is amazing), followed by a few drinks in the bar next door. Prices are more than reasonable for the meal and the drinks, and the staff at Neville’s went far beyond the call of duty. A lovely atmosphere and a great bunch of people altogether. Looking forward to our next visit!

We enjoyed great staff who worked all over the weekend to please their clients and most were people just out from school who did everything to make sure the clients were looked after. Not a sign of supervision or management during our visits, yes we were there several times. Now I hear that they closed today Tuesday and staff given their notice, after a hectic August weekend where the staff worked their buts off, shame on the management of the company you were not looking after your business

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Nevilles in Fethard on Sea recently and it has the best of both worlds in terms of ambiance. The old bar is a delight as it retains its old world charm, loved the old bunsen burner effect moulded into the bar counter. Brought me back to my chemistry classes of yesteryear. The new part with it's fine food, award winning I hear, is really good and with it's family friendly staff is good value for those with fussy small one's. If I am passing this way again I will definitely drop in again.

Fethard on the sea was not on our itinerary, but rather a spontaneous excursion on our return from Dunbrody house were we'd eaten already. But, a pot of strong Irish tea in a 400 year old family business (the O'Connell's and the Neville's have had a business here, not always a restaurant) was a welcome warmth to a gorgeous sunny but brisk day ( a day like April in Hudson Valley, New York or February in north Florida ). It appears to be the locals favorite pub. And I was corrected by a local, when I called it a restaurant, to letting me know it is a pub. I think this means no fuss with proper table settings, fancy wines, etc. simply good "home" cooked meals. In fact, I missed out into the rhubarb crumble, as it was all out. When's rhubarb season? I'll have to come back!
