Although we were limited to the outdoor dining experience, their was clearly no expense spared, with great lighting and adequate heating facilities for the winter months. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, friendly and curious. The starter of meatballs and garlic bread that myself and my partner ordered were delicious, I actually found the garlic bread tastier than the pepperoni pizza which I had for my main, although the dough was great the cheese and sauce just didn't sit right with me, I did however out this down to the fact that I enjoy my pizzas a little on the crispier side, but that's no fault of there's. That being said Croft alley has definitely gained new repeat customers in myself and my partner, to quote Arnie "I'll be back!".

Wow! The best pizza, garlic bread and capressi salad I have ever had. Never leave restaurant reviews but I was compelled to after my meal here. So fresh, hot and delicious. The seating outside was heated well. I am still thinking about the food days later! Unbelievable!

Amazing authentic pizza and wonderful staff, coupled with lovely wine makes this gem a real treasure. Great with a night out with friends or family. Kids loved the make it yourselves pizza boxes you could order during lockdown.

Delicious pizzas. Really enjoyed this hidden gem! Bruschetta was the best I ever had. Nice dough!!

My wife and I popped in while visiting Laois and had the meatballs as well as the cheeseboard for starters followed by pizza's. Like a lot of the places on the main street, it's compact & Bijou - the food was superb & the staff very friendly.

I never knew I loved pizza so much until I visited Croft Alley in Portlaoise recently. Small venue, but big on taste, big on service and big on atmosphere... a fabulous wood fire pizza oven operating right in the middle of the restaurant. Highly recommend a visit.

The food here was mostly good except for my arribiata which was very dry and the worst I've tasted. No spirits, dilute or juices. Service was absolutely deplorable for which there is no excuse. Sorry lads but you need to pull ur sox up

We just got pizza to take home. So happy these guys are open during lockdown for collection. Amazing crust, amazing taste. They don't cut their pizzas for collection and it is so good, they are far less watery that way, perfect. Also a quick blast in your own oven the next morning (if there is any left 😂) and they are even better. I love this place. Really great pricing too. Can't wait for them to reopen to dining to have their amazing starters.

Always and amazing experience and atmosphere whether your meal is sit down or take away. The staff go above and beyond and make every visit a pleasure. Their dough is soft and always baked to perfection, they always have the freshest ingredients and the wine selection is superb.

What a little gem in a town that doesnt have much choice when it comes to Italian. Croft Alley wont disappoint. The fresh ingredients and a team who really know how to make delicious dough results in amazing pizza and the pasta is just as good. Visited Croft Alley today to celebrate leaving cert results and I am speaking highly about this establishment. I am very choosey about eating out but this place I give 110 percent.
