Wonderful, delightful, memorable! We will go out of our way just to eat here when we travel anywhere near Abbeyleix! The setting is charming, the food is delicious (go there JUST for the homemade chutney, it's magnificent!), the prices are an excellent value. What a 'hidden gem' of a cafe.

Quaint cafe run by people who love food. Savory Pies, sandwich and cakes etc.on offer. We all had something different and they were all delicious. Friendly, welcoming staff looked after us. Lovely atmosphere

On a very busy Sunday my friend and I had the the most delicious meal...it was so good we both got takeaways as well for tomorrow. The service and food is second to none thank you Gallic Kitchen we can't wait to call again!

Fantastic spot for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee. The staff are friendly and professional. The food is great, and the specials are always changing. Recently tried the beef pie and the burger, and I would highly recommend them both. Definitely worth a look if your in the area.

No disrespect to Abbeyleix which is a lovely town but you wouldn't expect food of this standard from what a first glance seems to be a pretty nice but humble cafe in a small town. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised

Very nice pleasant experience, staff friendly. Coffee one of nicest we had for a long time. We ordered ham quiche, found it disappointing full of broccoli couple ham slivers sprinkled on top. Would not put us off experiencing more comfort delights in Brambles. 😀😀😀
