E. M.Food is savage!! Garlic and Chilli chicken wings and chips are amazing. Great variety to choose from on main menu and kids menu. The lady who served our table could not have been nicer, I think her name is Mary. Plenty of seating and sanitizing stations. Cannot wait to return. Well done!!

p. s.Great place for a bite to eat and of course a ice cold pint of orchard thieves,seating outside is so we'll set up ,very spacious with heater over every cubicle,rib and wing combo starter to share was gorgeous,mains we had Texan BBQ burger ,plain burger ,both were double homemade patties and stealth fries ,wide range of curries can't recall the beef one my wife got but she was delighted with it,my son had Southern fried butterflied great of chicken and stealth fires very happy with it also,all portions were plentyfull,only my daughter was brave enough to get dessert,she got chocolate brownie sundie which was huge,staff were very friendly and helpful,would definitely recommend going here for dinner and most importantly ring to book a table .
A. B.We just decided to try a walk in here of a Saturday evening with a party of 5 and were accommodated straight away. We had a lovely spacious area and the kids loved it. Meal was delicious from start to finish and every plate was cleared. Great sign when the kids are begging to go back! Very reasonable as well so great for family dining.

H. S.Had lunch at O'Gormans. They were particular about only allowing vaccinated people to dine indoors. We had one shot and they said we can only eat outside. Thank you for adhering to the rules.
The outdoor space was cozy and comfortable, protected fully from the elements. Lunch was tasty and filling. I'm glad we waited to order another plate. We eventually didn't because the first portion was heavy. The staff was very nice too. All in all, a great Friday afternoon lunch experience.

R. T.Stopped off here with my family on the way to Waterford. We ordered an Irish breakfast, lasagne, pizza and chips. Our food was delicious. Staff were attentive and helpful in spite of having to wear masks all day while serving customers. I chatted to Stephen when I went to pay. He was so friendly and pleasant in spite of being run off his feet seating customers and checking their Covid certs. I look forward to returning.
K. S.Top class evening, had in troublesome times, we where all vacined but indoors was full, we had a beverage at a barrell but where quickly relocated to outdoor area for dining. Meal,beverages & service all top class kids thoroughly enjoyed all as did the parents.

A. O.I enjoyed our visit and my selection of lasagne. My sister was disappointed with the bacon and cabbage as there was no cabbage just Brussels sprouts and she really likes cabbage. My brother enjoyed the mixed grill but my husband thought the roast beef was a bit tough. All in all O'Gormans was a lovely and safe place to meet up and we had a lively time.

M. O.This is a wonderful friendly pub with great food. There is a brilliant bar menu and the portions are great. The staff we met were all lovely and friendly and very helpfull and spoke to our children as people taking their orders. There is lots of parking and the location is ideal to come off the motorway to eat and then get back on. Its only about 2 miles from the motorway. The only thing that let this place down a bit is walking through the smoking area to enter through the front door and the toilets could do with a bit of attention but i will definately be using it as out stop off in portlaois again. (New review) Today is our third time in 1 year stopping here and the food, staff and service is still exceptional. Our server today was excellent, again asking our kids for their orders and treating them as people. We are always a party of 7 to 10 peopleand there is never a delay in being seated. In my earlier post i mentioned the smoking area which has been closed off from the front door and the changes make a remarkable difference. I cant recommend this place enough. I LOVE IT

S. e.O gormans is somewhere where you could go every Sunday of every weekend for life! The service is fast and efficient and the food whatever it is you get is glorious! not only do they do your every day bar food they have this super delicious (best iv ever had) thai menu which is quite unusual for a pub/restaurant in ireland ! theres really something to suit everybody! I really like the atmosphere of o gormans and especially like sitting outside in the heated beer garden area as it's very spacious. If ur around portlaoise make it your business to eat here, you wont be disappointed!
