Really nice food and excellent service. Love to have breakfast here and the occasional late lunch. Cosy atmosphere, toilets always pristine. Visited yesterday on first day of full reopening, disappointed to see no windows open, even a sliver, to ventilate, despite having both side and roof windows which would have ventilated a fairly full house with little draft. Please remedy this. It's not over and I want to keep going for the food and the hospitality.

Had lunch here today. Great service - the lady was absolutely lovely. Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Would definitely recommend the duck wrap and the noodle salad. The chunky chips are really good too!

Love the staff here, we had my wife's 40th there a few years back and they were so accommodating. The food was amazing as ever plus there was no trouble with any requests we made on the night. I have no hesitation in going to the Anvil anytime!

food is so amazing i broke down crying in front of the entire restaurant. i cant even remember what it was but i put the fork in my mouth and the flavours were so angelic i was in heaps. i embarrased myself and the entire restaurant fell silent and stared at me, but the food is UNFORGETTABLE!!
