A. M.Had dinner here last Saturday night. Food was amazing and so nice to hear live music again. Special mention for Sarah and Abby who were so helpful and gave amazing service. Sarah was so friendly and looked after us really well and Abby went out of her way to make sure we got back to our hotel safely. Your staff are out on their own. Well done.

A. O.Called in for dinner one day which was absolutely delicious! Staff were all very friendly and were more than happy to help. Only thing that let it down was the long wait times which was surprising considering it was very quiet when we were there. Regardless, a very enjoyable experience!
C. C.Visited here on Friday evening. My friend and I had a booking and were sat immediatley with loads of room between tables etc. Tons of staff on (they were almost banging into one another like generation z lemmings) but they weren't at all attentive albeit polite. Had to ask/Wave/call for water twice, more drinks etc. Was not asked at any stage if we wanted anything else - except when they dropped down my cocktail - which my friend had to order for me on her way to the toilet- and mentioned it was last orders. Food was very average. Had the american tapas but the chicken wings should of been fried for longer and the ribs were not nice. The chips were very tasty and my friend had her chips with peppercorn sauce which I had never seen before on a menu but would highly recommend. Had an espresso martini which was very good but my rose was way too sweet and I had specified to the waitress I wanted a dry one. Overall it was a tad disapppointing for a meal but maybe that was because it was my first dinner out since early March and I had high expectations but I do feel the staff would benefit with some training and direction.

A. S.I generally go to this place for lunch and my favorite pick is the spicy chicken wings as main course. Enough space for a team as well well and ambience is good. There is also a pub so you can watch sports while eating your food.

D. M.We had a family meal today in the Old Lodge, it was absolutely top class. The service was fantastic, the pork main was up there with the nicest I have ever had, it just fell apart at the touch. My wife’s pasta was beautiful and the kids loved their meals too. The staff were great with the kids. Would highly recommend, great job Old Lodge.

d.The hotel currently offers a Takeaway service for lunch every day. There is an excellent menu to choose from with high quality fresh food to suit all tastes whether someone is vegan, enjoys meat or fish dishes or even vegetarian, including hot or cold meals and a roast of the day. The portions are also very generous. I would highly recommend The Old Lodge Gastropub and a visit here is a must.
D. D.Food was lovely, be careful with indoor dining though. Were not allowing 13-18s dine indoors. Which was unexpected and a bit off-putting.
E. F.I had the canelloni and my boyfriend had the pulled pork. Both were delicious and service was fairly good. The sticky toffee pudding was more like chocolate cake but my boyfriend said the banoffee was delicious. We got a great little activity pack for the kid too
