J. T.Had a really long week at work.. Decided to finish my week by going out for dinner and a glass of wine. Dinner was heavenly! We got starters and main courses and every thing couldn't have been more tasty or perfect!! Sitting at home relaxing now - still thinking about how amazing the food was!! I wish I could've taken better photos but I was just too impatient and hungry lol! Next time 😊

R. O. D.Visited Dintys on a Sunday evening without a booking - despite it being busy we got a table inside and were looked after very well. Food was really fresh and super value. We had sole, prawns and the chicken salad. Huge portions, great selection of whiskeys, beer and wine. The barman was a bit quiet and did not chat too much to us but once it quietened down he was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Beautiful location and very nice cost pub decor.

P. L. P.Have over the years always had a great service, great food, great place. Never had a word of complaint. HOWEVER, we went last year after the restrictions were lifted in September. It was inevitable to find changes after months of lockdown but Dinty's was hardly reconizable. I have food intolerances which were explained at the point of ordering the meal. The meal returned and my food was coated in the culprit of my intolerance. As far as I was concerned it renered the entire plate of food unneatable. The meal was returned and the offending food was returned incompletely removed. The next point was the dessert, which was scrumptious. But it was seerved on a plate with a huge chip out of it. This was inexcusable as we were the only diners. So only 3 stars.

D. L.We dropped in to Dintys for a drink, not realising that a large food menu is also on offer. While we didn't eat here, others were tucking into steaks and were clearly happy with their meals. We'll sample the food next time we visit Union Hall. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.
T. M.Lovely pub /restaurant in a wonderful town in a beautiful part of Ireland , cosy atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff . I can recommend the seafood platter and the sirloin steak as they were both well presented and tasty and we left very satisfied and well fed , in these times it is important to feel safe while you are out and about and especially when dining ,dintys has sanitiser on entry and at each table and where we sat there were unobtrusive perspex screens between tables and we could see other areas were like snugs . I can recommend a visit and will definitely be visiting again ,thanks to the staff and food at dintys.
G. K.Went two nights while staying in Union Hall. First night was very good - fish pie was excellent as was the half calamari, half hake. The hake actually had be sent back as it was raw but staff handled it very well and the food was brilliant when it came back.
Second night was also good (scampi and plaice) though chowder was disappointing. Overall a very solid spot.

K. F.Spent two pleasant evenings here, food is excellent and also reasonably priced. Martin, the owner has an encyclopaedic knowledge and collection of whiskeys....and is very polite and engaging, no matter how many whiskeys you've sampled or how long you've spent there!! Highly recommended....

That turned out to be a godsend, because in retrospect we had one of the best meals of our entire 2 weeks in Ireland! Steaks for the men, tender and cooked to the point, Irish stew for me, in the tastiest variety because we tried a few on the way. The service was a bit stressed because the booth was quite full, but still friendly and fast. The room in which we sat was really cute and newly renovated. Absolute recommendation from us.

Wir kamen in der Not, weil wir in der Umgebung nirgends mehr Platz fanden. Der Chef nahm uns noch knapp vor Küchenschluss an. Das erwies sich als Glücksfall, denn im Rückblick hatten wir hier eine der besten Mahlzeiten von unseren gesamten 2 Wochen Irland! Steaks für die Männer, zart und auf den Punkt gegart, Irish Stew für mich, in der schmackhaftesten Variante denn wir probierten einige auf dem Weg. Die Bedienung zwar etwas gestresst da die Bude wohl ziemlich voll war, aber trotzdem freundlich und schnell. Die Stube in der wir sassen war wirklich herzig und neu renoviert. Absolute Empfehlung von uns.
