Reviews of Mary Ann's Bar and Restaurant
A charming wee restaurant with a wonderful host, cozy ambiance, and excellent food. The menu selection is great and portions are hearty. Fergus is very sociable and welcoming. Many thanks!!!
The food was above excellent. The staff and the atmosphere added to a wonderful experience. This is a gem of a place, make sure to visit of you are ever in West Cork! Not to be missed.
Staff were very friendly and attentive.
We booked in advance as we were told this was the only place in the village to grab dinner, thankfully we weren't disappointed.
The food was delicious fresh seafood, muscles, scallops with black pudding and catch of the day (hake).
I will definitely be coming back again even if I have to take a detour.
Excellent sea food in a traditional Irish pub.
Came here for a dinner for three! Nice place; reasonably busy but not crowded, a bit dark but cosy, pricy menu but very good food!! We were served by Lauren who saw to our every silly request with speed and a smile, and didn't judge us too hard when we couldn't finish our massive plates of food 😂🙈
I'll be sure to come back on our next holiday here!
(Warning to the wise; don't order goat's cheese and fish if you come here on a date 😬)
Delicious food, crab salad, prawns, lobsters in pleasant surroundings in a pretty West Cork seaside village
Very welcoming. Lovely food, especially the fish, and plenty of it. Enjoyed it so much we came back the next evening.
Great restaurant. Best food this year by far. Fresh fish. Huge portions - with vegetables. Fergus fitted us in even though they were very busy. Friendly staff. Go there.
