J. B.Irene and Bridie were super hosts. Great location and food is fantastic. Had mussels for starters and huge delicious portion, hake for mains was scrumptious. Unfortunately, too full for dinner. Full moon reflecting on water at night stunning and waking up to sunrise wonderful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

C. C.I was on a two week holiday down the west coast and had been wanting crab claws and lobster the whole time. Nowhere seemed to have them, they were always out of stock. Finally on my second last night I was able get them both here and they didn't dissapoint. Really great food.

P.We stayed one night in a four bed room in this really lovely B&B. The very cosy room had its own balcony with a fantastic view on the harbour of Goleen.
We have been served a fantastic breakfast within you are able to choose many different options.
The landlady Vicky and her employees are all absolutely friendly and nice. We have to recommend this place for a trip to West Cork as the best place to stay.
All in all: Best value for absolutely small money!!!

N. O.Stayed 3 nights at The Heron's Cove and ate in its restaurant each night so good. Thoroughly recommend. It's a great base for exploring West Cork - within 20 minutes drive of Schull, Barley Cove, Mizen Head and Crosshaven... all worth a visit. Goleen village itself is a 2 minute walk. Heron's Cove is a fabulous retreat, overlooking a peaceful Heron's Cove as the name says. Rooms are nice and really big, all with a balcony overlooking the view. But the best thing is the amazing food - really big on fish as you'd expect but also great meat and vegetarian dishes. All cooked beautifully and tasting great. Very good value for what you get.

C. D.Clean rooms with a superb view of the bay. Very friendly welcome. The restaurant is really very good, it's very good food! The only downside is that the rooms are above the restaurant and that's understandable, hence the 4 star rating. But the setting is truly exceptional!
