Our waiter was so nice! We got there early enough to get the early bird menu. My pizza was decent. One of my sons had the early bird with two courses the tortellini was spectacular. The olives are so so. Again our waiter was super great and friendly. All in all a very nice evening. They also have a pretty big wine list.

Traditional wood oven pizza & italian restaurant. Their brie salad is excellent as a starter and if you choose a 12 inch pizza you can split it with 2 different topings. Their black pudding pizza was an interesting experience to try but they have a large menu of other food options and drinks.

Absolutely delish😄 We ordered a take away in advance and collected it on time. It was ready and waiting for us piping hot. Pizzas were so tasty, beautiful bases and toppings.....yum, reminded us so much of Italy. We ordered chips as well, huge portions for us anyways, one bag between 2 would be fine. Social distancing was adhered to and staff very efficient. Definitely recommend a take away from here. Enjoy.

Absolutely fantastic would definitely return we did not have a booking but they asked us if we waited 20 minutes we would have a table and while we were waiting the drinks was 2 for 1 the food was excellent and the service was very good and we did not have to ask for anything as for value for money it was we had a lovely dinner and will recommend it to any of our friends visiting sligo

Fantastic Italian restaurant with a great selection of authentic Italian dishes lots of pastas pizzas and something for everyone. Had a great kids menu and a lovely warm atmosphere with the seating planned around a central clay pizza oven and excellent service. We arrived at about 7 on a wet Tuesday night without a booking and thankfully got seated for a party of 5 but the place was very busy so we were very grateful to be seated. The food was absolutely delicious full of rich flavours and freshness. We've been several times now over the years from when we were a couple then when our kids were smaller and now that they are a bit older great for families and great for a date night. Thanks for the 5 star service.

The food here is great! It's fun to be able to watch them making and baking your pizza in a traditional oven. They definitely stayed busy enough, even in the off season,which tells you that people really like the food there. Also, the staff here were the most gorgeous men that I saw on my whole trip in Ireland. The meal did end up a little pricey, but I was so excited for good Italian food that I didn't really mind.

Staff are relatively pleasant, the restaurant itself is nice and is clearly popular and a hit with locals, generating a nice atmosphere. The gourmet vegetarian pizza I had was delicious, as well as the bread and olives. Wine is reasonably priced and tasty. Service was quite slow, at every stage. It took us at least 15 minutes to be seated, and we were there almost an hour before I got our food, even paying the bill delayed us a further 10 minutes.

Nice ambience and really welcoming waiters, but touting to be a truly Italian restaurant and tossing sliced hot-dog on top of the "signature"-pizza just ruined the Italian thing for me. If wanting to serve original Italian cuisine you got to go for the real thing, not some cheap mainstream supermarket-ingredients...

Not great. First waitress was very abrupt and responded "yip" for every part of the order. Fortunately we didn't see her again after taking the order. She did forget to ask did we want ant drinks. The second waiter who served us was friendly but seemed to be managing a lot of tables. The food wasn't what I would expect for the price. The pizza I had was soggy and didn't really taste of anything. A shame. The restaurant was also very dark and made it difficult to read the menu. We saw several people with their phones being used as torches.

Staff are very good here. Was very impressed that they were so helpful with providing vegan options. Would be five star but have to say the vegan pizza was not good. It was a bit like having a salad on a pizza base.. some cooked toppings would have been nice. Everyone else loved their food.

Excellent food. Disappointing table service. Our server was not very pleasant, and was overheard swearing about guests from the next table who had omitted to leave a cash tip upon departure. Maybe the server was having a bad night, but that's not something patrons should ever know! The food deserves a five star rating, the server's poor attitude reduces that to four stars for me. It's not just about the food folks!

I was in Sligo for a few days and although I hadn't made a booking for a table the staff in Bistro Bianconi were able to accommodate me on Friday evening last even though the place was pretty busy. I was eating alone but was still made to feel that my custom was appreciated. This in no small part because of the wonderful waitress who served me (I think her name may have been Heather). I had a really good meal and will definitely return. Thanks Heather and all the staff.

Arrived at 5pm on a Saturday evening expecting them to be booked out like a few of the other restaurants nearby. Welcome us in 2 adults and 3 kids and made us feel very welcome. Even though they were very busy we we're not rushed and the service was excellent. Food fantastic as always.

We have dined here many times in the past. This time was early on a Thursday evening. The normal slick service and excellent food was unfortunately left wanting. Service was slow and nearly all of the dishes were given to the wrong people. Food was still nice, just not quite up to the normal excellent standard we have come to expect. Having left my two sons into the bistro for a meal , I picked them up when they were finished as alway to food was fab. My 10 year old son was so excited coming out, he had a story for me. They went up to pay for the meal only to be told that there entire meal was paid for, by a lady sitting across from them, The staff member told them that she said it was very nice to see two brothers getting on so well and it was a very rare thing to see now a days. I just wanted to say a big thank you to the lady from Dublin and that the lads are so thankful , my 10 year old son was so happy and said you were the most kindest lady. I know you had left before the lads went up to pay and didn't get to say thank you. I don’t know who you were but thank you from a very happy mum for making such a kind gesture.

Nice spot to stop for lunch - really amazingly friendly service as if we were really in Italy! We were a little confused about the pizza ordering process - they only sell by the slice, but the ones we got were excellent, especially the vegetarian. I loved my spaghetti carbonara, unusually strong flavors.

Turned up without booking, place was packed but we were able to wait in the bar upstairs. Staff are friendly and the service is excellent, we had a starter to share and two mains. The starter was prawns and chorizo which was really good, prawns were cooked to perfection, highly recommended. My main was good, penne all'arrabbiata, needed more chilli and I wasn't a fan of the chunks of pepper in it. However it was very tasty and the portion was big. Would go back next time I'm in Sligo

Ate here last night with my girlfriend. We shared starters of garlic bread with mozzarella cheese and king prawns. They were simplistic but beautiful. We then ordered the pizza and carbonara which were unbelievable. Every bite got better and better and was a great night out.

Had the pleasure of a meal here while visiting Sligo. Met the owner outside when it was closed and he was a lovely man and took my booking on an obvious busy evening. World renowned pizzas. Genuine Italian atmosphere, leaders in their field. Pizzas baked in the restaurant both upstairs and down in clay ovens so the aroma is Devine. Great variety of food, more than a pizza to choose from!! You will enjoy your visit. Did I mention the wine?😊

The food is always incredible and the first time I visited the waiter was so on point I was in awe of how good he was at his job but the second time I dined here the waitress we had was so bad at her job it was almost comical but very disappointing even her fellow colleagues seemed to be getting annoyed with her also the guys on pizza should really watch what they are saying when the tables beside that section can hear everything they are saying!

They try to recreate the atmosphere of Italian restaurants a bit. .. The staff is nice. Clean environments. They mainly serve pizza. But the taste will make you feel like you're eating a frozen pizza with a biscuity flavour.
