One of the best place to do a party. The staffs are very friendly. You don't have to wait a lot for your food and drinks, as the staffs do their job well. The food was very good. We were having our company Christmas party here and all of our colleagues liked it here. I recommend this place.

Our experience of Coach Lane last was exceptional. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. The setting and the food is top notch. Their speciallity 'Tomahawk steak' for two people sharing is special. Defo one of, if not the best steak experiences we ever had. We just couldn't fault with Coach lane, 10/10. I highly recommend here. (and we eat out a lot) Thank you Coach Lane.

My friend and I sat down on the restaurant upstairs and the review is about the overall experience for that particular area of the restaurant. Overall the place and the staff were extremely nice which I can't say for the taste of the food we've been served, especially considering that the average price for a main in that area is close to 30€. We started with a lovely bread loaf they served and set our expectations high only to be disappointed when we got our mains. I was served with a steak which unfortunately was not as tender as I would hope and the chicken ordered by my friend was not fillet as we thought but included wings and the skin. The presentation was nice but the overall taste was average and we both thought that the dishes were overpriced.

We done the 2 nights over our weekend visit to Sligo because it was so good. Great find in the centre of Sligo. Upstairs is beautiful and great menu and service. Steak was excellent.

Seafood chowder excellent - Sirloin (cooking preference given to the wrong people - not labeled for servers), mushrooms, onion rings and salad exactly what you would hope for - chips unfortunately let the dish down: flexible and way below expectations for the money. Stopped here by chance on my way to get a train. Lovely attentive staff who couldn't do enough for me. I was given beautiful brown bread without asking for it and they wrapped up what I did not finish to take home! I had Cesar Salad with chicken and it was fab!! Will definitely go back!!

Only a short walk from the train and bus station, this restaurant is not to be missed. Booking in advance is advised. The food,service and atmosphere is second to none. Highly recommended. If you don't use the restaurant the bar food on the ground floor also comes highly recommended.

What a class experience! The pub and restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be deceited, the restaurant is five star quality, have the 1.4kg Tomahawk steak to share!

We have eaten here on numerous occasions over the last 15 yrs or so The food has always been top notch and this time was no exception However the waiter who served us was smart to say the least..he offered me a lamb shank special for mains but it came as lamb cutlets..i questioned it with him and he said there was two different lamb dishes on offer and if i took the cutlets he would give us free dessert+coffees..when i declined his offer,he told me i would have to wait 10mins+reluctantly took the dish away without as much as an apology..he didnt seem to understand i didnt order or want this dish my wife had finished her mains by the time i got mine..very disappointed but we will return for fabulous food!

Possibly one of the best steaks we have ever had! There were three of us and we couldn't fault a single dish and the desserts were absolutely delicious too! Absolutely superb. They serve you fresh mini loaf of bread with butter and a chilli jam . We ordered the Tomahawk steak for two which is their speciality. It comes with a bottle of wine ,3 sauces and a selection of sides.Was especially fond of their colcannon mash and red cabbage. The staff were very friendly and attentive- we even had a chat with the owner. Don't think I'll have to eat for the rest of the week!!

Went do Donaghey's bar with my girlfriend on a Monday night. It was busy when we first went in so had to sit at the bar, which was fine. We received top service and I had a lovely pint of the black stuff. After the bar man recommended a meal called 'the tomahawk' we decided to go for it. This was a beast of a steak with all the trimmings, it nearly sent me into a food coma. The booths were cosy and look like they could sit 5, maybe 6 so I would recommend booking in advance. Top service, top food and a great atmosphere.

The highlight of the trip for my girlfriend and I. Food, people, atmosphere are all just outstanding. We were there on a Sunday night - had a few drinks with the owner Andy (who is also the chef), had the best Irish Stew of my life....then a few older people walked in around 10, sat down, ordered a round of drinks and just started playing music an singing.
