A new little place right in front of the sea. The menu is small but well created with the majority of dishes being local fish food. We had the chowder which tasted really fresh, the fried oysters which were very interesting and creative and the fish&chips which were delicious. All three dishes were well cooked with attention to detail for seasoning and presentation. The location is beautiful, the staff friendly. The restroom was super clean which is always a good sign. The prices are very fair considering the high quality of the food. We were happy to find a place in the area which really focuses on the quality and are hoping that they will keep the high standard. Looking forward to come back soon.

Delightful dinner. Very good quality seafood and a really lovely setting. We returned the next day for a coffee and were equally impressed.

Really enjoyed Taco Thursday at Fish and Bean. As soon as the plates reached the table, the smell of beautiful fresh flavours filled the air. Gorgeous food at a very reasonable price. A great restaurant in a fabulous location. I can’t wait to go again!

Delicious food, interesting menu which changes based-on what is fresh off the boat / seasonal. The staff are really friendly and there's a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Highly highly recommend trying here!

We ate here on Sunday and were very impressed, i had beautifully prepared cooked oyster with caviar for starter. I am looking forward to eating these again, they were worth the trip alone. My wife had the chowder which was rich and fresh with plenty of fish and served with home made Brown bread . Our mains really showed off the creativity and skills of the chef and sets this place way above a regular seaside fish and chip place. she had the lobster ravioli with a velvety sauce, i had the most delicous coconut based curry with generous portions of fresh monk fish and scallops and juicy plump wild mussels. The high quality and freshness of the ingredients were apparent throughout the meal. The kids meals was not the usual frozen stuff but kids version of the main courses with something for even the fussiest of pallates. Even the kids deserts were made from scratch in the kitchen and were delicous. The wine selection is limited but well curated and is good value. We had a delicous white bordaux which went very well with our meal. They also have a good selection of regular and craft beers. In terms of value for money, what we paid was about the same price or less than many só called gasto pubs but the quality of the ingredients and the chefs attention to detail were what you could expect from a 5 Star establishment at more than twice the price. Ask for a table over looking the bay.

Fine dining cafe style! Delicious lunch of crispy baked oysters, mussels (huge) and lobester and crab brioche roll. Kids devoured the kids portion of fish and chips. Great coffee, will definitely be back!
