Great place for a meal after a day out in County Sligo on a beach or walking in the mountains. There's plenty of outside seating in a marquee and in the open air. Good service and friendly staff. Plenty of free parking on site.

The ordered roast of the day and fish & chips and both were really good even though the roast was your usual carvery lunch. Did not like skinny chips so would not recommend but the chunky chips were to die for. We were able to get a table outside without reservation but I am not sure if this is always the case so would recommend to call them first.

Excellent, though very busy at the time we arrived, got us seated quickly explained that there was a delay in service (not that much tbh). A special word of thanks to the staff, all were excellent, well trained and courteous, have stayed in a five star establishment recently and the staff there are not a patch on the staff at Henry's.

Sunday carvery in Henry's is the best carvery I've ever eaten in Ireland. The white parsley sauce is just divine. Ham and turkey are very succulent. Potato mash is creamy and smooth. The vegetables are very nicely cooked. It's just all very very good.

We were here on the first of January 2020. We were returning from Belfast via the Northern Ireland Coastal Road, heading back home to Galway via Donegal - Sligo rute. We had a wonderful stop here with wonderful food and service. We started the year right. We have been greeted by beautiful people in one of the most beautiful restaurants we ever steped foot on. The atmosphere was just perfect. The service offered outstanding and the food was unreal. Best fish Chowder! Make this a must! A mandatory Must.... Thank you all for a lovely passing by evening. If you left here hungry there was something wrong. We hadn't booked we just landed in and they were able to facilitate us. Place clean and tidy. Waiting staff were very attentive to the youngsters gave them colouring packs etc while waiting on the dinner. Comfortable seating. Was good value also

Visited here last Monday(10th) for lunch. When we arrived we were pleased that we had no delay in getting a table. Staff seemed friendly. During the course of our lunch an internal dispute was happening between staff members, down by the till at the kitchen doors, in full view of the customers. The girl that brought us our drinks was clearly annoyed about something and our glasses bore the brunt as they were SLAMMED down on the table. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Food was ok but over priced.

As I stepped into Henry's, I remarked at the the exquisite olden day themed interior. Owing that my family was such a large one, I was ready to face the comment saying they were going to have to split up, but to my suprise our waitress immediately started to help us put together a large table willingly which was very nice. Our meals came fairly quickly. I ,myself, ordered the fish and chips. My tastebuds were in delight when I had my first bite. The fish was succulent and delicious. However, as I continued to eat, I noticed the chips were very heavily seasoned, the pepper gathering in oil at the bottom of my dish. I could feel the salt grinding on my teeth that wasn't pleasant. On the other hand, my sister thoroughly enjoyed her dish, the chicken creamy pasta. She commented on the rich taste and the creaminess that delighted her tastebuds. Overall, I would definitely reccomend this place, due to the cheery, willing staff and the happy atmosphere.

(Translated) Nice atmosphere, well attended and delicious food. We had the house style chicken and the chicken carbonara. Both tasted great and we were completely satisfied. The prices are normal and the waitresses friendly and tried hard. We were advised when ordering that we might have to wait 45 minutes for our food because there was so much going on at the moment. In the end it was there after a normal 20min and we were happy. Oh yes: at the end we treated ourselves to a very delicious crème brûlée. Highly recommended. (Original) Schönes Ambiente, gut besucht und leckeres Essen. Wir hatten das Hühnchen nach Art des Hauses und die Chicken Carbonara. Beides hat super geschmeckt und wir waren rundum zufrieden. Die Preise sind normal und die Bedienungen freundlich und bemüht. Wir wurden bei der Bestellung darauf hingewiesen, dass wir unter Umständen 45min auf unser Essen warten müssten, weil momentan so viel los sei. Schlussendlich war es aber nach ganz normalen 20min da und wir glücklich. Ach ja: wir haben uns zum Abschluss noch eine sehr leckere Crème brûlée gegönnt. Sehr empfehlenswert.
