The food was amazing, this is one of the rare places where you can get some spicy food. The employees were really friendly, I went there with my family and infact it was 2nd birthday for my baby. They did take care of a few things that made us really happy. We have tried a few menu items and we loved it. I recommend this place.

Wonderful Food, Fantastic & Freindly Staff. Lovely Decor. Great Menu. Excellent Selection of Beers. We visited here a few years back when staying in Sligo. Searched for good places to eat and we were pleasantly surprised to find an Asian themed eatery with great reviews. I was in Sligo last week (Mon 8th Nov) and all I could think about that day was Jalan Jalan and if it was as good as it had been a few years prior. Safe to say its still absolutely fantastic and I'm delighted I chose to re-visit.

Ordered online and collected in 15 Minutes. Had BBQ Ribs, Thai Mango Chicken and Chicken Salt and Chilli Pepper. Food was fresh, hot and very tasty. Generous portions! The Ribs could have done with more spice, was a bit bland. Overall good value for money. Absolutely recommend Jalan Jalan Sligo. Update May 2022: Went back to Jalan Jalan first time after it reopened post-covid. Had no Reservation but was offered a table immediately. Service was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Jalan Jalan BBQ Ribs and the Wok fried Duck. It was fresh, very tasty, flavoursome and a generous portion. Simply gorgeous Food! Update November 2023: The menu has changed a little but the service and food are still excellent. Everything I ordered was delicious and served quickly with a smile. The portion sizes are great too. You definitely won't leave here hungry. You're doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

One of the very busy restaurants in Sligo. This place offers you a great deal of Asian cuisine in both starters and main course. The ambience is very pleasing with a great interior decoration. Staffs were so friendly and helpful. A must try for everyone.

Delish food, fantastic staff! So happy they were opened after 9pm in Sligo! We were rejected a few times from a few other spots and Jalan Jalan was the beacon of hope and fantastic food we needed!

What a lovely place. It opens at 12 for lunch and by 6 minuets past the place was half full. I couldn’t believe the quality of the food and everything coming out of the kitchen looked gorgeous. I had the Won tong for starters and my wife had duck rolls and they were lovely. For main course I had the duck in orange sauce and my wife had the Thai red curry and everything was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The only down side is that it is in quite a small premises so it gets really busy and they don’t do takeaways yet. Putting that tiny downside to one side the staff are friendly and once your in and seated it has a nice warm environment. I’m already planning my next visit so that’s as big a compliment I can give it. Well done Jalan Jalan please keep this quality up and don’t fall down the crack of lowering quality for the bigger profit margin which unfortunately happens all to often.

Jalan Jalan is one of my favourite places to eat in Sligo. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We order from the vegan menu which has lots of options! Food is always outstanding, never a bad experience. Even the vegan dessert is exceptional. Definitely recommend.

Wow. Great taste, great size, great speed, great price. Everything about this place was great. It was mostly full but they offered to let me sit at a window bar sized table which was still warm and nice. Food came out quick - potato curry with duck - maybe 5-8 minutes even though the place was full. Tasted amazing - lots of duck in it. 13.5 Euros, but you can get other meats or veggies for less. I wasn’t expecting to be filled up- in fact I thought my appetite could take the moon - but Jalan Jalan humbled me - and I enjoyed it deeply. Great place.

Really nice asian food! Big portion meals that are hard to finish ;) The staff and the owner is very welcoming and friendly, we got a whole bottle of tap water for free and the waitress gave some recommendations-that were truely good! Sadly the crispy chicken meal was not as warm, but it still tasted very nice.

FABULOUS.. lovely atmosphere, food is excellent, The portions are very large so you will leave happy and full. Reasonable prices. Staff are really friendly and efficient. Booking is definitely advised as it's very busy. I did see the staff ask for phone numbers of non bookings to phone them at later time if a table became available which is a great idea but best to book in advance. Sometimes you might be given a table with a very reasonable time limit as it may be reserved for later but this is very acceptable I think. Lots of time to eat and then let others enjoy after. Omg! The food is soooo tasty! First time to eat there, early December, and loved the starter and main I had ... In fact, I I never had a Beef Satay like it in my life ... the beef was so tender, it literally melted in my mouth! Food was beautifully presented, and staff were friendly, and efficient,and the place had a lovely, vibrant atmosphere! Definitely will be eating there again!

Amazing Asian food... Very fresh and presented to a high standard. Its a small restaurant so I'd recommend coming early in the evening, don't be disappointed if it is full. They usually take you name and hold a table for you. There is a few pubs near by to have a pint and wait for a table. Enjoy 😉

So the food is excellent here, really tasty stuff indeed. The issues are with the organisation. We waited an hour and a half for our food to be ready and then we discovered they had given us someone else's order. The restaurant called and offfered to change it for us but we were a few miles away at that stage.

Some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten. Everything I have tried is delicious, staff are really friendly and helpful. Pretty quick service considering everything is cooked totally fresh to order. They do great Vegetarian options as well which can be hard to find around Sligo. Would highly advise booking though as they are always very busy.. suppose that's proof of how good the food is!

Very good food nice staff. Very busy being a bank holiday Monday, so we got a table at the door which was a bit cold when people were coming in. So that's why four stars.

There are unique items on the menu for an Asian restaurant in Sligo and there are dishes I would recommend, however I had kebabs and they were over cooked and dry. Personally I think restaurant is overhyped and priced way too high. I've tried multiple dishes like gyoza which I would recommend, beef soup noodle too pricey not variety of veg but beef was tender and Thai curry was ok. Perhaps I need to try more times but still think too pricey for what I'm getting. I would recommend other restaurants over it.

As a vegetarian, Jalan Jalan is my favourite place to go for an evening meal. I can have tofu with pretty much any curry or sauce, and it always works. The noodles are an extra €2.50, but they're so worth it. It's not just a bowl of noodles. They're fried with eggs, bean sprouts, green onions, green beans, oil, soy sauce—they're lovely. Service is also incredibly quick and the staff are charming. I do love the decor, but booking ahead is almost a necessity, and the front door is quite wide and lets in a lot of cold winter air when opened. If you can, book a table further towards the kitchen. Jalan Jalan, Sweet Beat, and Street Cart are my go-to places to eat in Sligo town. Nook in Collooney and Pudding Row in Easkey are also amazing, but they're outside of Sligo town.

(Translated) Korean chicken fried rice with Kimchi I was happy to have the menu, but it was more like Chinese fried rice than Korean. The staff were friendly, but the food was so good even when I was hungry. (Original) Korean chicken fried rice with Kimchi 메뉴가 있길래 반가운 마음에 시켜 먹었는데 한국식보다는 중국식 볶음밥에 가까웠다. 직원들은 친절했지만 음식맛은 배가 고픔에도 그저그랬다.
