Fantastic Breakfast Menu, best vegetarian breakfast I’ve ever had. Sausage are exceptional. French toast was also a huge hit. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back. Was well worth the one hour journey.

Gem of a place tucked away in a side street in Collooney. Gorgeous food, local Irish ingredients with Asian inspired twist to a lot of dishes. Desserts looked fab as did the breakfasts but we opted for lunch this time. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Nice coffee too!

One word . Amazing. If you like food you'll love it here , the KFC and nanwhich is my fav so far 🤤🤤🤤 oh and the brownies

This is a great place to grab lunch in. A hidden treasure. I'd love to see it expand to surrounding towns and cities in Connaught. It puts some of the eateries in Dublin to shame. The staff are courteous and the chicken is scrumptious. I'll be back for sure.

Eaten here now a number of times and have never been disappointed! Staff always friendly and attentive, cafe is small but you can reserve a table in advance which is fantastic. The food is out if this world, I love that the menu changes regularly.... All the more food to try!

One of the best places for a bite and coffee in Sligo. Food is always fresh, tasty and piping hot - service is always great too. Really nice coffee too!

We called into this absolute gem by chance and were not disappointed. The food was absolutely sensational , large portions, reasonably priced and staff very friendly.

Best food in Sligo. I haven't had anything that can equal the food here. Every time I eat here the plate is always empty going back into the kitchen. Top class.

Friendly clean local and good coffee.

Ate here as a family of 4, very busy but great covid 19 measures, unlike some other cafe and restaurant in Sligo who seems happy to pack them in. There was a steady queue and I think people were turned away as it was busy.
We didn't feel rushed, and the wait wasn't too long. Brisket was really tasty, pork burgers and naan which got thumbs up.
Very nice staff, efficient and clean all around.
Nice retail items, amazing sausage rolls we picked up for a journey too. Best I've had yet.
Recommend this little gem. Maybe booking is best.

Really really good food.
We had fresh smoothies which were lovely, and large compared to a few Sligo cafes I could mention! I had the Autumn plate salad, which was really substantial and different (in a good way)
The only thing is that there may be a wait as its all fresh cooked food which we were told, but we didn't mind at all, it was worth it. Will return.

It's a nightmare for my wife to eat there lol. Their menu is so appealing that it takes me ages to pick what I want. AMAZING Food. They received tons of awards over the years & it's very obvious why. The chef is definitely super talented. One of the best restaurants in Ireland. You do not need to spend hundreds of euros or visit a Michelin star restaurant to experience great world class cuisines. It's obvious that there is a lot of knowledge, research & attention to details going into their dishes. You should definitely eat there! Book a table if possible or go early if you can because it's a small restaurant & fills up quite quickly. Congrats Nook Cafe!

Great coffee and lovely food and treats :) I would highly recommend!

Three of us went for breakfast at Nook and the food was quite nice. However, there was a horrific breeze coming from somewhere and when we asked the girl working there she just shrugged and didn't even try to accommodate us. The bread was lovely and my breakfast came with a delicious relish. My cup for the tea was slightly chipped and there was a little spider running across the table. These things aren't a big deal but good and friendly service and a warm place to eat is what I would've liked.

Worth taking a detour for if you're in the Sligo area! Fantastic Vietnamese food, locally sourced meat and the beat home cooked chips I've had in a very long time! And a big portion! Yum yum!!!
J. N.
Great little place with super food. Literally 5 minutes from the roundabout on the N4 near Sligo. Even with the Covid social distancing it is well worth a visit and excellent value for money. With only a few tables available make sure you call in advance for a table...
J. G.
Consistently fantastic food. The fried chicken Nantwich never disappoints, and their constantly rotating menu is great every time I’ve visited. The chips come with a variety of flavouring options but they’re grey on their own too. Easily the best cafe in the area

Had a BLT today - very nice!

Food fantastic, not a place id bring the kids again.....very tight squeeze, left standing with 2 babies and a one year old until a customer got up and gave us their table and moved to a smaller table. Had to ask people behind to move so we could feed the baby! Had to ask twice for high chairs. Asked three times for water and the waitress came to take our order before giving us menus!! Food was great and kids menu amazing but won't be returning with them!

Wow...have had both breakfast and lunch here recently. Fantastic eclectic menu. Chef uses local produce to weave together fantastic tasty food. If you want fast food...go to one of the drive thru's. If you want fresh cooked food with a twist then Nook won't disapoint.
Great friendly and efficient staff. Keep up the good work..

Fantastic food! For a small cafe in a small town the northwest, Nook deserves its reputation as one of the best eateries Sligo has to offer. There aren't many tables so needing to wait for a free seat during busy times isn't a surprise, but the food is certainly worth waiting for. Top marks.

We had lunch here last Saturday, great choice on menu and delicious food. Busy spot on a Saturday, small wait for table. I can see why it wins so many awards. Will be back, worth the journey time.

Great and popular spot. Tiny and busy but a really delicious vegan Patty and great chips. Shame there was haloumi in the vegan salad - but they were very apologetic and gave us free coffees. Will return.

I am so glad google saves location based on pictures. I couldn't for the life of me remember the name of this place. We are from North Carolina and were looking for a full breakfast two Decembers ago on our trip to Ireland, and this little restaurant provided one that blew me away. Absolutely delicious food, friendly people, and cozy atmosphere. Will recommend to anyone and everyone.

Best Sunday brunch in Sligo, portions are huge for the price, full of good quality stuff, and you leave full to the brim. Staff very friendly, and the chef went out of her way to accommodate my wife with her requests. Can't say enough good things, if this place was in Sligo town it would wipe the rest of them off the map - WELL WORTH the visit!!!

Amazing food with a lovely quirky Asian twist!!. Excellent service and adherence to covid restrictions. Overall a lovely positive dining experience.

The best latte and flat white of the county. Really friendly staff.

Tasty delicious home made food, amazon portion sizes and awesome staff!! The homemade chips are delish...the burger is massive and so damn tasty!!Anytime I am home its a joy to pop in on my way to Donegal.
If only other places put as much care and effort into their food as Nook then we would be spoiled for choice! Alas they don't and its to Nooks great advantage...keep up the awesome work!!
See you guys again no doubt!!

Definitely worth the short trip out of Sligo town to check this out. Ran by a Chef who is super passionate about her food. I have eaten here on four occasions with my partner and every time we have being super impressed. I have had the naanwhich on three occasions and the brisket on the other. A lot of the ingredients/meat etc is locally sourced which adds a nice element too! We were also lucky enough to attend a super evening which was as expected top notch. 100% check this place out if you are visiting Sligo.

A hidden gem in Collooney. Really interesting menu with Irish Asian fusion food, certainly not the kind of food you expect to find in a small village. Good choice of nice wine, very friendly staff, highly recommended.
O. M.
Superb little place outside Sligo with a very interesting take on Irish food.
Katsu sando is a must, the tenderest pork I have ever tasted, and good to see a place that uses free range meat too. 10/10

Nook is a hidden gem, and has astonishingly good food to offer with the freshest local produce. Eithna, the chef transforms the best ingredients into delicious food from every corner of the world. You will not be disappointed!

Start to finish a fantastic experience. You eat with your eyes first and this is particularly true for me as I've loved their food from afar via Instagram for ages and when I had the opportunity to travel to Sligo, I made sure that I hopped off the train in collooney and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely fantastic, looked as good as it tasted (which was pretty great). So close to Sligo town too. Can't wait to go back People in the north west are very lucky.
J. B.
Amazing food! Just fab! I'm a veggie and it's the best place in County Sligo for me to eat but it caters for everyone!
Just go - you will NOT regret it !

Nook is by far the best cafè in Sligo. Breakfasts are exceptional, other breakfast menus available in the Sligo area pale in comparison. 10/10

Great Cafe Great food selection. For the other reviewer please don't bring your children take them to McDonalds. The please is too good to be spoilt by screamers.
D. J.
Fabulous place, oh my god! The food is like nothing else, I can see why some other places in and around Sligo are trying to copy it's food, but they don't do half as well as the nook.
V. F.

(Translated) Small establishment not serving alcohol; not even beer! In Ireland !
It is true that it is more a family spirit that animates the owners. If you don't like kids, you'd better stay out the door.
Honest burgers. As everywhere, the Irish do not save cooking fries. Even if they add herbs with originality to enhance the taste.
Good fruit juices. Even if the addition of seeds, an idea that may seem nice at first, makes consumption a little less practical.
As you are in a kid-friendly restaurant, a toilet has been sacrificed to make a comfortable space for changing babies.
Bill of 34.50 euros for 2.
(Original)
