B. G.I've been here twice.
The first time it was really excellent. The waitress was beyond lovely and the food was really delicious. The calzone, pizzas and pasta were excellent. Service was also prompt.
The second time was really mediocre. Service was beyond slow, though it has to be said that once again the waitress (a different one) was super lovely. The starter's (brie, prawns and wings) were decent but the mains were very slow and disappointing. The calzone was a little cold in the middle and when cut into leaked quite a lot watery liquid which caused the bottom to be soggy.
The chicken dish was a very small portion that didn't warrant its quite high cost, it was also dry.
The pastas were enjoyed though no one was crowing their praises either. The chip portions were also much smaller than last time, which isn't a major deal but continuity is key.
Overall, I don't want to be too harsh as the food wasn't very bad or anything, it was just a remarkable amount worse than the first time.
Would I return? Probably not.

Food was out of this world. We love Italian food and this was by far the best we had in years. We had a good mixture from pizza to pasta and starters too and could not fault one thing. The service was brilliant and very comfortable setting. Would go back both as a couple or with the family again.

Visited this restaurant several times and it never fails to impress me. In an area like Swords, where there are plenty of food choices and competition, I must say Empoli is underrated and deserves recognition.
Gorgeous tasty food... Both of us had pasta dishes - love the 'tomato sauce'...Service excellent too. Would highly recommend this Italian restuarnt
J. L.I worked for the meat company who supplied their steaks, always a nice relaxed vibe when entering the place. Finally got to eat here a year later, well worth the time. The missus and myself split multiple portions. Very tasty and reasonable on prices. Would recommend everyone to try! I will definitely be eating here again soon

s. d.Really tasty however we was not happy with the service .For about 20 minutes there was no waitress only the chef .Trying to get his attention to order drinks etc was literaly hoping hed look up from the kitchen eventually .I will give 5 stars because it was all i was not happy with however it was christmas week wednesday and if a gang or christmas party walked in you were in trouble .Have a waitress there as soon as you open and do not have a chef serving us its unprofessional i think .Waitress did arrive eventually tho .Food was delicious this was our second time here .I would like to come back again but next time if it is similar with staff i wont be .Thank you.

C. R.The food is ok. It would be a more successful restaurant If It was managed better. The whole time we were there one of the managers sat on a chair beside the kitchen fanning herself. There are always staff standing outside smoking when you walk past. We have had trouble with wine orders in the past. It's a restaurant that I would love to recommend but I feel it's waiting for an episode of Ramsey kitchen night mares to shake it up.

E. N.Now admittedly one doesn’t eat the fixtures and fittings, but the ambience has to count for something. That said, let’s be positive. The pasta was good although the arrabiata sauce was way too spicey for Italian standards - & the pizza base was. Dry good indeed. The menu is limited but I’m assuming that they major in what they’re good at. The service was very good , attentive & charming - but the place is as dark as a Soho strip club. a pity when the food would be so much better to see under good light.
T. l. V.Myself and my kids always love going there. Spaghetti carbonara is my favourite and our kids love the kids sized pizzas. Can’t really complain. Greeted and welcomed at the entry door. Highly recommend it people with craving for Italian food or not.

Only issue was that while our waitress was wearing a mask, she didn't have it covering her nose and kept pulling it off completely when behind the bar, so she was repeatedly touching it - pretty much defeats the purpose of wearing a mask!
