V. V.Italian is my favourite cuisine and this is one good Italian restaurant. I would visit again for their desserts alone. It was really tasty and the few minutes of eating the dessert - heaven on earth.
The staff were ok. The food was served hot and it was good but we waited for hours together for our food. For a not so busy day, the four hungry stomachs were a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, the food was really tasty and would recommend.

Wet, stretchy, burnt, not crispy, definition of the pizza dough. taste, no ever mistake, always same source of the goodness from sourdough bacteria and nutrients..
Sourdough is made in the secret way inc. kiwi and banana skins asfarasiknow......

V. S.An absolute gem! Delighted we found and tried this cosy Italian restaurant! Friendly and nice service! food far above our expectations! For starters ordered small platter with ham, cheese, olives and sun-dried tomatoes, for main ones had pasta with salmon and ravioli with beef and it was simply delicious! Deserts were as delicious as every other food we had there! Even Orange juice was from Italy! Restaurant big enough for special occasions! Will definitely come back to try out other dishes!

And they always modified a bit the recipe of the dish to accommodate my needs. They do takeaways too! Love their tomato pasta! Big portion and delicious every single time! The delivery is fast too! Pizza is excellent! Remove the cheese and add more toppings to make it vegan! A dream! Thank you Pomodorino for feeding our bellies and our souls in the same time!!

I ordered a Pomodorino 12" pizza (like margherita pizza but with better quality products supposedly). The crust was nicely baked, thin and chewy at the base, all the signs of a good dough and oven. However the tomato sauce is bland and there were about 3 small pieces of mozzarella for the entire pizza. Was very disappointed with this since I had paid a higher price hoping to get a really good pizza. I took the pizza, added mozzarella that I had in the fridge (the pizza was really bare) and some salt. I put it under the grill and sure enough it came out a better pizza.
I will try to order from them again and see. If the pizza has more cheese and better sauce I will change this review! 😊
E. M.Accidentally ran into this restaurant during our lockdown-style family Sunday trip and the hiccups we had had earlier were fixed by the amazing experience... We had one of the best pizzas ever. No exaggeration. The flavors were amazing!
The coffee was great too. Just the way we like it. REAL expresso - strong, thick and aromatic 🙂
Very pleasant service too.

You would not regret about it. We’ve been here a few times now and it’s been great each time. Our kids don’t do great in all restaurants but this one is always a hit. The kids pizzas come with bunny ears and the food is delicious. Highly recommend

We ordered the carbonara and meat pizza, both very good especially the pizza. Pizza cooked in a clay oven which gives the pizza the authentic look and taste. All good arrived to the table quickly. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

M. F.Very nice spot on the main street. Have a wonderful selection of traditional Italian dishes on the menu along with some contemporary options. They have a nice selection of Italian beers, wines and liqueurs too. Staff are very friendly. Previously the restaurant had fewer seats but on my last visit they appear to have added further seating around to the left in the corner. Finally the deserts/cakes look fantastic but I always seem to forget about them until I'm about to pay 🤦🏻♂️
J. M.Really tasty pizzas and a nice atmosphere in a small restaurant. Food is reasonably priced and ingredients are of a high standard. Service can be a bit hit and miss depending on how busy it is. On our most recent visit we waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken and struggled to get attention of staff to get another round of drinks. I imagine this was an exceptionally busy day however and have generally found staff to be attentive.

A. D.I'd heard great things about pomodrino, but I felt it didn't live up to the reputation. I'd previously gotten a take away pizza that I wasn't overly impressed with but decided we'd have to give the sit down restaurant a shot. I ordered the garlic bread with cheese which was a good start. Followed by the meat lovers pizza. Which was very disappointing, it was sloppy with a very weak tomato base and very little cheese. When you picked up a slice the toppings fell off and the damp pizza base fell to pieces. Service wasn't great as we were sat in the back, the waitress was very friendly but got our drinks order wrong and took so long to come back to the table that we didn't bother with a second glass of wine. We went to the till ourselves to pay. I went back next week and got a cannoli desert and coffee and to be fair both were excellent.
F. A.Authentic pizza and Italian food in Swords, so no need to look someplace else! The menu is simple and has many Italian classics, look out for the special of the day: they are usually great main courses choices. I particularly like the dessert choices. Enjoy!

R.Pomodorino is THE Italian restaurant in North Co.Dublin, from pasta to pizzas including the sides are very tasty and cooked to "Italian standards" Its always a good idea to go for the special dish of the season as well. The desserts are great and they have some Italian desserts that are hard to find elsewhere which really deserves a visit. Cooking takes a little so make sure to come with someone to chat with.

When my family and I went we think a new girl started as some orders were mixed up and drinks were forgotten about and it was not busy but we have all been there in the service industry and staff were still very lovely.

B.We showed up to a nearly empty restaurant on a Friday night at 6:30pm. No signs that instructed to wait to be seated so me and my sister and her 18 month old headed towards a table. We were approached by who I assume was the owner. We asked if we could sit anywhere and with an incredulous look said "No! Do you have a reservation?" I kindly explained that I didn't know we needed a reservation and asked if they could accomodate us as my niece was getting hangry. They did, which was nice, but the food was less than impressive for the price. The bruschetta was literally just sliced cherry tomatoes on a piece of toasted bread. Boring. Flavorless. The pizza and spaghetti was the same. Our server was quite pleasant. For the prices they put on, they need to step up the food significantly.
