Really cozy inside and the staff were really helpful and nice, but food taste bland and not as good, the whole experience seems rushed as well, after starters got main whitin 5min and after main course few min later been offered desert menu while still trying to get the food down from main:)
G. H.Absolutely stunning food. Very high quality steak, cooked with great skill. Definitely one of the best steaks Ive tried out. Wait staff were extremely friendly. The chef even came out after the meal to ensure we were happy with the food.
H.The servers were bubbly and fun to interact with yet they gave the perfect amount of space while you were eating your meal. Each dish was very clearly made with a lot of care and was beautifully plated. The biggest highlight was the créme brulee, it was my first and most definitely won't be my last.
Most important of all considering the quality of the meal it was a very reasonable price and I will be going back again along with recommending the restaurant to all of my friends and family and co-workers.

Went here again for our anniversary and not only was the service just as good if not better the food was equally as wonderful!! Consistently outstanding food and service as well as a gorgeous new location.

The duck, goat cheese starter, salad, and desserts were also top-notch. The chef is a super interesting and righteous dude. Love his commitment to hyper-local, handmade and foraged yums. Don't miss an opportunity to eat here!

Food was delicious, a lot of the veg and salad grown and freshly picked from their own garden, all ingredients locally sourced from kerry. We are 1 vegan and 1 meat eater and we both really enjoyed each of our 3 courses (and glass of vino 🍷). Not on the menu, there was 3 vegan dessert options so make sure you ask your server about vegan dessert options so you don't miss out! Would recommend and we will be back the next time we visit tralee. (I got woodland salad, roasted portobello mushroom and lemon cake, he got crab cake, steak and pistachio cheesecake - I didn't think to get pics of his first 2 courses)

2nd experience mindblowing. First time we had a steak that was perfectly cooked. Says a lot for the standard of the industry. Noel is truely top class. Flavours and combinations delish and staff very courteous and friendly. Could not recommend this establishment highly enough. A must visit when in Tralee

A.Went there for the early bird menu. Fine dining without the expense. I had mussels for starter and steak for main and everything was delicious. Paired it with a cab sav that was very smooth. Everyone waiting our table were very friendly. Will definitely be going back and bringing more people.

We received a complementary in house taster which was cucumber, beetroot and cream cheese. It was very refreshing. I got a juicy chicken supreme for my main. D. M.We turned up here after accidentally booking another restaurant with a confusingly similar name, but they were luckily still able to accommodate us. We both had the lamb, which was both beautifully presented, and cooked perfectly; one medium-rare, and one rare. The desserts were also great (tarte tatin and chocolate fondant). The service throughout the evening was really good and attentive, despite having a large tour group in. Ambience was lovely, with well pitched music. Really can’t fault the place.
O. K.A very warm welcome by someone who loves his job and is expert at it. We were a party of three and I had the fillet steak. It was the best steak I have ever eaten. I ordered it because of the how the manager described it. My son (7) had the mussles and the 8oz steak. Wonderful atmosphere, warm friendly helpful staff and excellent Kerry sourced food. The only item not locally sourced is from Cork. How amazing is that? Would 100% recommend and would 100% come back.
f. g.I wanna bring some justice here from other reviwers. I always check the bad reviews first before going restaurants. In this case i can say most objections where about portions been small. I think my fellows reviewers might have missed the fact that there's a tapas menu here , and as you all know tapas ARE small apetizers, in fact priced 7 to 9 € wich this days is cheap. I loved t crispy calamari with squid ink foam. But everything else was fairly good including the impressive variety of cocktails. Defentely reccomend it ourteous service makes you feel easy too.
a. v.We went to dinner the 1st night, and returned the next night. Gary looked after us soo well . The owner and chef took time to chat to us at the end of his very busy night. On our second night he gave us our drinks and deserts on the house when he heard i was a nurse. I cannot reccommend this place highly enough. The passion and professionalism is so aparent. Here I have found very nice recipes, very well presented and with extremely fresh local products (you have to try their cheese selection) plus a very friendly and helpful staff. The interiors are nicely furnished and they feel cosy and welcoming. The price I paid was very reasonable and encouraged me to leave a bigger and well deserved tip to the staff. Well done!

T. G.The best meal I have had out. As a vegan food choices are scarce, Noel came to the table and gave time to speak with both of us. The mushrooms were foraged for that morning in the local forest and all we ate was grown by Noel himself. The sauce was so good that 2 very clean white plates went back to the kitchen, I would buy that sauce by the bucket.There was a Vegetarian/ vegan menu, and it was seriously the best food out I have ever eaten. Clean, fresh and original- a tomato sorbet! seriously...The menu changes with the season, I cant wait to see what they have next week. I hope Noel and his team develop some Vegan desserts, this would make the Croi experience perfect. Lovely setting, great food and very friendly staff. This is what real food is about...A must try, and my new monthly treat to me...

Following this we had an complimentary appetizer mine was bespoke. I had a fantastic starter of scallops they were smoked and served on a hot stone with a crab shell filled of melted butter. My friends had the steak for main with cafe de Paris the manager told us that the recipe was a secret handed down to his chef from a chef who served King Louis as I said he was fun and apparently the steak was to die for. The rest of the meal was sublime and the Prosecco and wine was superior. I’m traveling down from Dublin again and will be booking again can’t wait

F. N.The food here is indescribably good. But I'll give it a try. I booked nearly two months ahead for an aged steak which exceeded all expectations. Well worth the wait - but that's not all - every detail, every morsel, every bite had been carefully prepared, the salads a delicate balance of subtle flavours, steaks with the most intricate mouthfeel and as many undertones as a good wine. We complained about the wine - and though it was our mistake in choosing the wrong one, our friendly but professional maitre d'(?) was happy to replace it with a better one at her own recommendation. Prices are reasonable, portions just right - and it was an honour to meet Chef Noel in person on our way out. We were invited to enjoy the rest of our evening, but how could we do better than a meal in Croí? Truly, the heart and soul of food has been captured here.
