We had a lovely meal at this restaurant while we were visiting Tralee. We rang on the day of the booking & were accomodated without a problem. We dined outside, the food was tasty & the service was good. Just missed a bit of ambience without any lighting, flowers etc. Also I was asked if I wanted a blanket but never got it....think that was more because of them being very busy, and it seemed a little short staffed.

This is one of the best restaurants that I've ever been to. My partner and I ordered a seafood risotto and a seafood pasta. Brilliant place, we were in Tralee for a few days and this place was one of the highlights. We were looked after by Eva and she was fantastic start to finish! A genuinely lovely woman and made us comfortable throughout. On top of this, the food itself was absolutely beautiful! I simply couldn’t leave any food on the plate. My only wish would have been to try more of the dishes. We also found the pricing to be more than reasonable given the high standards of food and service. We will definitely be going again, and I would highly recommend you go too!

What a place we were in Tralee at a very sad time as our Dad was dying we ate here twice and well without saying it was like they knew. Lovely venue and friendly staff. We had a great meal here tonight. We were attending a show in tralee after dinner and staff were incredibly accommodating with service and ensured we were served promptly (even though the restaurant was quite busy). Very nice place. Had minestrone soup, garlic bread with mozzarella, penne pasta in white sauce and vegetarian pizza. Must say the soup was by far the best minestrone soup. Garlic bread was delicious tooo. Just wished the pasta has a bit more sauce but that is subjective. Very nice place

We were so happy we chose Il Pomo Doro to celebrate a 21st birthday. Val couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Been here a few times and always enjoyed it. I've tried the Marsala and potatoes which was delicious. I've had the pepperoni and the chicken and ham pizzas, both fantastic. There's a coeliac menu too if you have anyone who needs gluten free options. Definitely recommend!
