Prviously, I had squid and a friend of mine had cod. They were delicious, but we don't like the chowder. Place is very small, but thanks be to God now they have outdoor tables too. We takeaways Cod for two people. We also visit the outlet in Killarney. I upload the Cod photo here. Plenty chips coming with the Cod.They're now serves different kind of squid. Still nice squid but I prefer the old baby squid. See photo here.

Had the most delicious Fish & Chips on Saturday before going to the match. All fresh cod or hake and real potatoes chips cooked before us. Service was excellent with really friendly staff. And good value for money!! Will definitely be back on our next visit to Tralee.

We had lemon soul it was the special with chips and salad and brown soda bread. It was fabulous fish was fresh and chips were delicious. Can't fault, good service and friendly and prompt. Will go back again for more highly recomend.

Stopped in here for a late lunch. Ordered the fish and chips, which was absolutely amazing. Best chips I have had in Ireland. Also picked up some smoked salmon, which was also amazing, and very affordable (like 2/3 the cost of US smoked salmon). The man running the place was very cheerful and very polite. The atmosphere was cheery and bustling, but also quite and relaxed. Very nice experience. I plan on returning here if I am in Ireland again.

Great little place. The original Quinlans and food is amazing, the chowder was an experience in itself, very friendly staff. For chowder lovers, highly recommended. I love sampling chowder throughout Ireland and this was on the top 5 list. Much nicer food than Quinlans Killarney, the place is smaller in Tralee but the food is tastier and more wholesome.

I got the squid which was good and the lady got the sea bass which was also good. But sea bass was a smaller portion than expected and the Chips tasted like old fried oil. Sad. But kinda pricey for what you get. Fish and chips was the only thing that looked like a fair deal.

Don't have a big experience with "fish&chips", but i think that is one of the best. Fish fresh and cooked good. Just need to be ready, that your clothing will smell like your food ;) I think, is something like 15€ per person here

We have had fish and chips all over Ireland and this was our favorite. This is a fish shop that is so clean it does not smell like a fish shop. The staff was wonderful and the fish and chips were the best. looking forward to returning.

Went in last Wednesday evening for a belated birthday outing with my sister....had the best fish(hake),chips and mushy peas ever-service was fab....very cheerful staff.....lovely and quiet when we got there but as we were finishing up it started to get busy.......nice background music.....overall-highly recommended.

Amazing. I rarely eat fish but I devoured the lot and was here a few times when I lived here before. The owner gave me to try stingray, blown away. Gorgeous. It is a little on the expensive side but they know they're the best

We had a cod and a John Dory an kiddies meals and loved it. Friendly service (one child spilt salt on their plate and they helped out). Several locals were there and recommended it. There are only a few seats available. Almost as good as Morrison's in Ballycastle. :-)

Chowder (fish soup), squid (squid) & bass (sea bream) very good. Chips are great, sauces go great. It's also great that you can buy the fish directly at the fish counter to prepare it at home. Service is really great!

Very good restaurant to taste a “Fish and Chips” (€13) or the “Chowder” fish soup (€7). The ingredients are fresh and of the day (they also sell fish and seafood on the same premises). The only drawback may be that they do not have many tables, but in these cases there is the possibility of ordering takeaway. The staff very friendly and cordial.

Very good quality and above all the fish was very well cooked, the Salmon I tried was on point, perfect. The fries are also very delicious. It is appreciated that they have the menu in several languages ​​because even if you speak English you do not always know the name of the fish, although the menu in Spanish contained several big errors.

This place has really good food, everything prepared in view, fresh fish, deep fried, served with large fries, something delicious. I recommend cod with a bit of lemon, it tastes really special. The downside is the size of the place, so I suggest taking your meal home and enjoying the taste of delicious fish in the comfort of your home. The suggestion of eating at home has its reasons, namely having fresh fish brings with it a certain inconvenience, and that is the smell of a fishing boat that can be felt at a considerable distance.
