M. F.Dining with a view. On a sunny day definitely sit outside at the picnic benches and take in the view while you eat. Food was grand. There is a car park right beside and it is ideal for stopping off before or after a walk along the beach.

J. O. C.I have eaten in Sammys a few times over the last few weeks. The location on the beach is fantastic. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the red thai curry and she asked them to spice it up. Both dishes were wow! The food is good value and even though it was very busy, we were served quickly....

S. L.Absolutely top class food in a stunning location in terms of scenery. This beach restaurant and bar is cosy, traditional, obviously very professionally run and situated right on the beach huge and beautiful beach flanked by mountains on either side. Had one of the best meals I have ever had. The steak was melt in the mouth and the Guinness was one of the best pints I'd had in a long time.
If you hit this place on a sunny day it really is heaven on earth. You'd go a long way in the world to find somewhere as beautiful.

S. C.First off... For anyone else like me wondering if they serve alcohol... Yes, there is a bar within the restaurant, serving wines, beers (including Guinness), spirits and cocktails. We had dinner on a Monday evening. Fish and chips, and burger were great. Steak and Guinness pie also good. Piri piri salmon was unfortunately not great however, with no evidence of piri piri, and came on a bed of mash with separate boiled potatoes on the side, so potato overload. Portions all very good. Service was prompt and friendly. Right by the beach, and affiliated with the B&B just round the corner. Stick to the basics, and you'll be fine
