The Tankard has been a very pleasant experience for me over the past few months. The food is excellent, the staff totally professional ,while maintaining a warm welcoming presence. I would totally recommend the venue for good food, warm welcome and delightful ambience.

On the 26th of Sept. I went for my birthday meal to the tankard and I can’t praise them enough Lovely staff , AMAZING food and excellent atmosphere. Toilets were spotless and the restaurant is fabulous For our meal - I had the hot / cold sea food plate and it was extremely delicious , my dad has the “steak of the day” which was fillet steak,he said he really enjoyed it , my mom had the chicken stuffed with black pudding which also had mash potato and chicken skin on the side and my moms friend had the chicken with garlic butter, she said it was very delicious and would definitely get it again ‼️After we had finished eating we decided to go to the bar and a lovely member of staff accommodated us at the snug lounge and it was lovely and comfortable, a table a single seat and a corner couch I had a fabulous pink gin and lemonade and the others had a Bacardi and coke, whiskey and coke and a club orange Highly recommend everyone visit

Great food. Very helpful if you have food intolerances. They now have an extensive children's menu too. Wonderful views across Tralee Bay. Oh and the Guinness isn't bad either.

Good food (maybe a napkin under battered food to soak excess oil up) good prices staff on the ball until about 9.45pm when they are closing and tyding up .. we still had to have desert and coffee and staff were really not focused on customers more on cleaning and setting tables ..

Excellent food served all day, local seafood a speciality. Friendly service and a good range of beers. Eat in the bar or in the beautiful restaurant with panoramic views of Tralee Bay. Garden area for kids with outside seating. Recommended!

Although this venue is remote in terms of transportation to and from the closest town, which is Tralee. The food is good quality and the scenery of nearby Fenit is amazing.
