T. W.On the 26th of Sept. I went for my birthday meal to the tankard and I can’t praise them enough Lovely staff , AMAZING food and excellent atmosphere. Toilets were spotless and the restaurant is fabulous For our meal - I had the hot / cold sea food plate and it was extremely delicious , my dad has the “steak of the day” which was fillet steak,he said he really enjoyed it , my mom had the chicken stuffed with black pudding which also had mash potato and chicken skin on the side and my moms friend had the chicken with garlic butter, she said it was very delicious and would definitely get it again ‼️After we had finished eating we decided to go to the bar and a lovely member of staff accommodated us at the snug lounge and it was lovely and comfortable, a table a single seat and a corner couch I had a fabulous pink gin and lemonade and the others had a Bacardi and coke, whiskey and coke and a club orange Highly recommend everyone visit

V. B.Good food (maybe a napkin under battered food to soak excess oil up) good prices staff on the ball until about 9.45pm when they are closing and tyding up .. we still had to have desert and coffee and staff were really not focused on customers more on cleaning and setting tables ..
