A hidden gem. I've been to Thailand many times and this is hands down the most authentic tasting Thai food I've eaten outside of Thailand. The service and staff there are amazing. If you are in Galway and you want authentic Thai food, this is the only place to go to. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. I would give them 10 stars if I was able too.

An absolute gem in Galway! We were staying in a local hotel and got takeaway from Know Thai because lots of other restaurants were closed. It was so good we went straight back the following night! The food was mostly good. They also offer a 5 point spice scale, from very mild to quite spicy, so choose whatever satisfies your taste buds! The location is a bit off route, but they are available over popular food delivery apps.

Lovely authentic Thai food, definitely no frills whatsoever. Flavours are amazing and extremely balanced and feel like a world class orchestra in your mouth, totally not overdone at all. The spicy chilli squid is absolute ace. It is under "light bites" but I'd pair it with fried rice and it was enough to pass as a main meal (however I am rather small). Everything and anything on the plate goes superbly well together. I'd walk all the way here for the food despite being abit out of town. Definitely well worth a visit but you'd definitely come back for more! Location is abit odd in the industrial estate but that wouldn't even matter once you get a taste of their food. Does delivery and collection if the restaurant is full (which happens quite quickly during lunch time as the restaurant is quite small with rather limited seats).

This place is tucked away, but worth the search. Decor simple, straight forward, but the food was REALLY good. My partner had the phad mee vermicelli, I had the crispy duck. The flavors were well balanced, portions were just right, and the service was excellent.

The best place where you can get the perfect Thai food ever! I lived in Chiang Mai 2016-2017. This place is the best place ever! You can get "the real thai food". Whenever I miss the flavor of real thai, Always, every time, order at this restaurant. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Everything in the menu is absolutely delicious, i mean EVERYTHING! The presentation of the food is also excellent. The staff is very friendly- they will talk to you, click pictures, suggest what is good. They have re-opened now for dine-in due to the COVID-19, and fhe measures taken are extremely good. Well recommended place if you are nearby Galway and pretty much hungry!

True insider tip, hidden in the back of an industrial estate one would not expect this jewel of culinary excellence! If you want the ordinary Thai cuisine typical for Ireland you are wrong in this restaurant, because even my taste buds were surprised about the 1000 wonders they experienced. A warm and welcoming front desk (covid approved) lead to a friendly member of staff who took our temperature; a cleaned and sanitised pen was provided for the new normal registration. Social distanced seating (again freshly sanitised) and a friendly; and very patient lady took our order. What can go wrong with some squid, chicken wings and spring roll? Well, now that I had them at Khow Thai I know that a lot goes wrong in all the other Asian restaurants I visited so far all over Europe. The mains proved that quality beats quantity every time! Instead of insanely overloaded plates you get just the perfectly sized dish of your choosing, lovely presented so that not only your mouth but also your eyes have a good time eating here. And although there were guests waiting in their cars for seating, noone stressed out or put pressure on the already seated guests. This restaurant is celebrating Thai cuisine and hospitality from the moment you enter this temple of heavenly food. And only the gods know where the chef found his way down to our Galway secret tip.

Best Thai restaurant in Galway. It's in an unusual area, but don't be put off ... the staff have been really creative and tasteful, and transformed an industrial box into a clear, clean, minimalist dining area. The food is EXCELLENT, the staff are *gorgeous*, can't recommend it highly enough! Vegan yellow curry blew my mind :)

Never have I had a bad experience or a bad dish from here. Probably my favourite place in Galway to get a Pad Thai. Would strongly recommend. Note* if you're walking it may be a little bit out if the way but it's just as easy to order online

What a find!! It’s not in Galway city centre but if you have a chance jump in the car, bus or taxi and experience one of the best Thai restaurants outside Thailand you will find. The menu is perfect, I hate going to restaurants and finding too many options, you know it’s difficult to maintain freshness!! But this restaurant has a great mix of Thai food and they also let you decide how hot you would like :) scale 1-5.... We had the spicy chilli squid and beef salad followed by beef with ginger and seafood Phad cha. If I could give more that 5 stars I would. The staff are friendly and attentive, so I would highly recommend to try this place or order a takeaway/delivery so it’s perfect either way.
