We had lunch here on Monday August 16th. The food was exceptional, the service was very efficient and the staff were both accommodating and friendly. The menu had a wide range of dishes. The restaurant was spotless and was fully compliant with covid regulations. We will definitely be back.

I stayed one night in the accommodation which comprises of four bedrooms and a spacious kitchen /living room. The bedrooms were clean. The kitchen lacks an oven, just a microwave and a hob. The bar /restaurant was closed due to Covid restrictions.

Nice old school Irish pub vibe, historic photos hanging up tied to the building and past landlords. Breakfast was perfect, always a relief when things aren't cooked to death as is the case with most places serving breakfast. Coffee was perfect for me, a nice mellow blend. The staff matched the venue, laid back but on the ball, friendly but not overbearing. Overall it was a great pitstop on my journey, I highly recommend it

This place became our family favorite! Have been there three times already. Last time we also took our guests. Everybody loved it. Food served all day. Nice and cosy interiors with some daylight and good ambiance. Very tasty food. Sympathetic stuff. Free parking. Baby changing room. No loud music, good for our baby.

The Sheridan family seem to be the owners of much of this small town. The restaurant has grown organically over the years and so is a loose assembly of different-sized rooms, suitable for wedding celebrations, union meetings, and the occasional wake or Christmas party. The washrooms are clean and reasonably roomy. The menu has all the traditional pub grub. I enjoyed the hearty fish and chips and I really can’t recall what my wife ate but it was tasty. The pub area has character and sufficient beer to drink. We ate in a small room just inside the door which may have been meant for children as the chairs were a bit on the small side. Service was prompt. Food was hot and good. Recommended.

We stopped in here on our way to the south, friendly staff of one, beautiful food at a reasonable price. Interior could do with an overhaul. Adequate parking midweek, however, if eating there at a busy time it could be hard to get a space.

We stopped here for Sunday lunch before Christmas, it was quite busy and there was a large family group of us but we were seated quickly and our order's were taken in no time at all, our food arrived promptly and was delicious, it was very reasonably priced too, the staff were very friendly and we would definitely stop off there again if passing.
