I have always had great meals at The Forge and today was no different. I tried their tortellini and it was actually some of the best tortellini I’ve ever had! Staff are friendly and the environment is lovely.

Lovely interior. The staff were friendly. The meal cost us 41 euro which I included 2main meals, 1 cup of coffee, 1 pint of beer and 1 slice of cheesecake. All of it was very tasty bit the meal was very small.

Really enjoyed our recent family gathering here. Plenty of parking around. The atmosphere/background music for small family gathering was perfect, not too loud not too low. The staff were very friendly and efficiency with the table service. The food was delicious. There was hand sanitizer everywhere and the place appeared clean throughout. I would definitely book there again for a small occasion. I dropped a star just because it was quiet cold upstairs in the function room, but, perhaps I could have chosen something warmer to wear and more suitable for the time of the year.

A superb dining experience. Having used the customary hand cleansing station at the entrance, my wife and I were were ushered by friendly, helpful staff to a suitable table. The venue was clean, light and spacious with plenty of room between tables. The seats were the most comfortable we have ever sat on, in any restaurant - ever. We joked we wanted to add a couple of their chairs to our order. I had the beef, with roast vegetables. My wife chose the rack of lamb. Both meals were utterly delightful. Cooked beautifully, the meat was tender and the accompaniments similarly delicious. The bill, including cranberry juice drinks, came to only 45 Euros. Wonderful value for such an excellent meal. I heartily recommend this venue.

What a pleasant experience. We stopped here on the way to Clifden. As we were already booked into the hotel for dinner we had a snack & as my companion had no Covid certificate (83 yrs & lost) we ate outside. He ate potato & leek soup, I had a smoked salmon open sandwich on brown homemade bread which was so generous & delicious. We were served by the loveliest Bulgarian girl who made us really welcome. She smiled continuously! On our way back from Clifden we also stopped in to eat fresh fish & chips & a pickled fennell salad. Do try The Forge - you won't be disappointed.

Lovely pub with great food, both bar menu and carvery. Good choice of beers on tap and wine selection. Decor half good, weird multi colored chairs and pale tables don't match copper/petrol Blue style which is luscious. Staff incredibly friendly, great manager overseeing everything. Would recommend to stop here or make a detour to visit this great little spot.

One of the best Irish breakfasts I've had so far. Very high quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. Fast and professional service with a spontaneous smile. Clean, elegant and comfortable venue. Sure I will come back next time I am in Moycullen!

Was told when I rang to reserve a table that they dont do reservations, but when we arrived you could see some tables had been marked "reserved" ???. Was not at all impressed with the food,very mediocre. The chowder was watery and on cool side. I ordered beef only for guy to come back then minutes later to say beef was no longer available, I then ordered chicken but what was presented to me was very very disappointing. I won't return here.

Well located, nice, family-friendly restaurant on the way to Conamara. In the rear area there is a “separee” for parents with children. Colorful chairs, lots of space and a privacy screen separate the area from the rest. Children are welcomed with their own menu, which includes games and a coloring section. The pens are included. Vegetarian, fish and meat dishes, salads and traditional pies are available. The service was quick and friendly. Plus point: there is a large, free parking lot nearby. Recommended.

The village is not particularly a destination in itself but if you pass by there and your stomach is crying, then this is the address you need. Large and modern places, large screens for sports broadcasts, fireplace. The menu is well composed and the prices are reasonable. The service is friendly. A small parking lot is in a nearby courtyard.
