L. R.A great spot for breakfast and lunch. Large venue and tables well spaced out. Vibrant atmosphere and reasonably priced. Decent sized portions food tastes great would recommend the chicken burger/gouging for lunch and the full Irish/pancakes for breakfast - the restaurant allows you to choose what you would like in the Irish breakfast so you can replace eggs tomorrows etc with more rashers or sausages. Staff were friendly and attentive with fast service
C. F. d. S.Don't sit too close to the kitchen, the chef loves to ring the bell like crazy. The breakfast wasn't hot, it was warm..huge issue for me. Very pricey, hope the next experience there is better than this one.

J. M.Got the Gourmet Burger, would expect a decent feed for 15 euro but came back out as hungry as I went in. Came with chips which tasted well, identical to Mcdonalds chips. Overall flavour was good but definitely lacking in substance.

I love how child friendly this place is and you don’t have to worry about having a small baby that is crying or needs feeding (no one stares as it’s such a child friendly environment) There was even a table set up with big teddies sitting on either side of the table which was a lovely idea! I visited here on Wednesday morning for breakfast and myself and my friend got the avocado on toast. On the menu it said it came on a baguette with tomatoes, salsa and poached eggs. I asked for this without the poached eggs but with everything else and was told I would just get the avocado on plain toast because it was easier and cheaper. When it came the avocado was like baby food. It was like a purée or a spread rather than a freshly smashed avocado. When I tasted it I couldn’t believe how strongly flavoured it was with garlic and onion, it was more like a processed guacamole spread that was scooped out of a tub or jar! I also received plain toast to spread it on to instead of the lovely baguette type bread that was on the menu so it looked rather disappointing on the plate and tasted awful. At that hour of the morning those flavours were way too much I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth for the whole day. I wouldn’t be one to leave a bad review but I just felt it had to be said because my friend got the same breakfast and found the avocado spread to be way too overpowering at that hour of the morning.
P. G. h.A lully café. You can get the most noble sangiches in there. Although, once, they put the small tot sitting up on a windowsill, which I personally thought was quite dangerous. There are many steps, especially up to the toilet. And I think there was a man in the women's toilet the day I was in there. But still, for a sangich and a shcíl, tis great.

t. m.We were in Waterford on holidays from Tipperary and we ate here twice. Food was excellent and also we were so impressed with social distancing and all government guidelines were followed. We felt so safe here which is extremely important now
J. D.Today was my second time at No 9 Cafe and I have to say the staff were so nice and welcoming. The baby and kids menu is excellent. My 16 month old gobbled up his fishy dinner which is rare, dinner time is usually a battle. Then my 5 and 7 Yr old loved their fish tempura and chips. I got the pulled pork bap which was very tasty and my partner got the roast chicken. The only issue he had was cold potatoes, but we didn't complain and it wouldn't put me off at all. It's so nice to have somewhere that we can all eat and the play room is a great addition. We sat and chatted while the kids played. It's great to see a cafe catering for kids, from the breadsticks, water cups, colouring pic and crayons, to the playroom and fantastic menu. If I lived in Waterford this would be my favourite place to meet friends with kids. We need a no 9 cafe in Wexford badly. Oh and from reading some negative reviews about your staff, I honestly haven't a clue what that's about as the three staff members that we dealt with were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks for a lovely meal, we'll be back.
C. S.Service / Staff was great, but Ireland in general, this is almost expected. The food was good and they had a wide range of options. For a dinner it seemed to be kid-friendly, clean, and a lot of places to sit.
R. B.Friendly atmosphere. Standard fare served promptly. Sandwiches etc were of a pleasing standard. Chicken noodle portion size was huge but of the standard jar type sauce variety rather than with individual spice and herb elements.

Waiter spilled a drink on my wife's leg (accidents happen). They couldn't have been more apologetic and gave her meal for free and a free dessert for a future visit.
Food was hit and miss, mash potatoes were luke warm, BBQ wings weren't great although burger was nice and so were the chips and the grilled cheese. My daughter swore the garlic bread was the best she ever had (the blaa no doubt).

You see a pokey looking entrance on the main street which opens up to a deceptively large restaurant upstairs. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Toilets need to be maintained though - they were clean but dryer not working and no paper.
Food is tasty. Would go back again.
Menus on outside display show a lot of info for breakfast and brunch - but they're open and serving food until 6.
There's also a small playroom with toys and TV to keep the kids entertained.

I. A.It's a busy place, the waiters don't pay attention to the costumers. I asked for a hot chocolate they gave me a warm almost cold. The glasses are very dirty with stains on it.
It's a lovely place to go with children, baby friendly but just for a coffee.

However, they were very attentive lovely staff, and the kids are so well looked after here. Plus my partner has salad viwl which was huge. However I asked could I have particular foods from the gourmet brunch and I was told no as they are set menus and then I asked could my filling be in a panini Instead of a wrap again I was told no as it was a set menu and no changes can be made. My partner then asked if he could have no chips with gourmet brunch and he didn’t want the chips and didn’t want to waste the food. The waitress said that he may aswel get them as we would be charged anyways! Because of this “set menu” and that no “alterations” can be made it would not be ideal for fussy eaters or if you did like or want a particular food on your plate, or even have a dietary requirement! . A bit disappointing in this day and age! Lazy chef if you ask me!!

The only problem is that even though it's quite large it can get very busy at peak times leading to a wait for a table but the staff do a great job in minimizing the wait!!
s. t.Nice selection of food for a cafe, there are good dinner and lunch selections. Coffee is lovely as are the staff. Wheelchair accessible entrance is at the back of the restaurant (via the shopping centre). There is a play area for kids at the back, good for family dining and couples.

J. C.No.9 is one of the few restraunts that properly cater for familes in town. The food is fantastic, and there's something for everyone including those who are vegan, vegetarian and celiac.
Their prices are very competitive with options to suit all budget's.
The staff are very good even when under pressure, do be aware though during really busy times you may have to wait 10-15 minutes for a table.

T. D.This is a viberent restaurant in the centre of Waterford. It has an activity area for children. It caters well for accompanied extended families. As grandad it works less well for me. The food was adequate. I have two issues. 1) Noisy 2) The explanation on the menu I felt less honest especially describing the pulled pork burger, what ever was the referencing to Waterford Ham or Cuba, meant to be. I sort of get the Blaa
referencing.
However I didn't feel the descriptin worked on many levels, for something as generic as pulled pork I could have had in Nottingham or Cork.

and in the restaurant on the first floor I highly recommend an Irish (British probably) delicacy. Warm roll with raisins inside, #Scone.
Scone is served with butter, jam and whipped cream. The dose of sweetness is staggering - and that's it, and interestingly, I won't faint thanks to the cream.

a w restauracji na piętrze bardzo polecam irlandzki (brytyjski chyba też) przysmak. Ciepła bułka a rodzynkami w środku, #Scone.
Scone podaje się z masłem, dżemem i bitą śmietaną. Dawka słodkości jest piorunująca - i o to chodzi, a co ciekawe nie zemdli dzięki śmietanie.
