M. C.Lovely place, the food was great, the desert was super, the staff were polite and great. I'd return for sure. Loved it! The first time I had beef cheek, considering the restaurant has mostly sea food, this surprised me in a good way, nice cooked, delicious. My wife was also impressed about the salmon. My son ate all the fish chips. The sticky toffee was delicious, the salted caramel was amazing.

M.One of THE best restaurants and bars in Westport!!!. Tom looked after us by getting us a table even though the restaurant was almost booked out. Service was outstanding from our server Amanda and Chris looked after us for drinks on the terrace for the remainder of the evening. An amazing venue for our wedding anniversary, would highly recommend.
R. D.Lovely meal. Everything was positive except service was slightly slow. I can understand this though due to the busy weekend and the schools being off. The place was packed so the slow service was probably a good thing because love was definitely put into our food. The food was amazing and I definitely left the restaurant full. There is a lovely outdoor seating area with shelter and heaters and it made our meal that bit better. The views were amazing too. I would still highly recommend, don’t even hesitate to go to the towers.

G. O.What a lovely little place at the edge of the clew Bay harbour. Dined outside as we had the dog with us. They did a great job with it. Heaters & fake grass, didn't even notice it was raining when we left. The staff were great. And the food was definitely value for money. A new must if you find yourself in the wonderful town of westport.

A. M.This restaurant is only open 3 - 4 days (Fri/Sat/Sun + possible Thursdays) so check before you go - but DO GO! The menu is relatively small but the Bream & it's delicate sauce was spectacular and the Pear & blackberry crumble absolutely divine. Indeed both were so perfect that it is perfectly reasonable to assume this exquisite attention to detail will extend to other dishes on the menu. What was also endearing was the warm and kind attention of the staff. I have a visual disability & despite being completely booked out and busy on a pre-festival Friday night they adjusted for my needs.
The observation of social distancing between the tables and the inspection of Covid certs is another reassuring policy & adds to the sense of safety & comfort in a relaxing atmosphere.
P. M.We love it here and the food is awesome, nice view of the sea and warm atmosphere. Nothing to complain, a no-brainer concerning lunch or dinner, with family or friends or couple. Chowder and Chicken Wings and Vegetable Soup are delicious!
C. I.What a fabulous find. Spent a very pleasant evening here whilst on our travels around Southern Ireland from the UK at the end of September. Padrick and Ed were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend and hopefully be back again sometime.

A gang of us dined at The Towers on a busy Saturday night of a bank holiday weekend. The manager and staff looked after us and an elderly relative like VIPs. They made sure the older person didn’t have to stand in a queue, organised a chair and put on the outdoor heating for her.
The food was wonderful, mussels, sea trout, chowder, fish & chips. All delicious.
We will definitely be back.
C. W.No bookings at the moment, so sometimes a queue, however it seemed to move quickly, we hit it at the right time and there was no wait. We sat outside, which was comfortable with outdoor heating and blankets provided.
Staff as always friendly and accommodating. Good menu means there's something for everyone. Food excellent, all in all highly recommended! A firm and popular favourite!
A. C. C. A.Lovely place, food is great. Incredible view of the sea... if have the opportunity try to stay in the apartments very comfortable. In one day rain, but who's think that with this view??? I recommend you try the chowder or include some dishes with crab or in the summer try the lobster.

S.Lovely outdoor setup with lovely staff but I feel there should be more on the food menu and especially more seafood. Its a restaurant sitting on the sea, i was just disappointed by that. We were seated outside in a covered area, the outdoor heaters were powerful and was needed on a sunny (but chilly) evening.
Outdoor access to separate indoor toilets were a great post-covid facility.
Overall a wonderful experience on our last evening in Mayo.

H. A.Was really impressed with our visit to The Towers this evening for drinks (only) with friends (4 of us from Achill and Kildare). A masked-up savvy guy (who said that he had worked years before in The Asgard across the road) looked for and meticulously checked our CoVid Certs and Photo ID before entering the premises. Group contact details were taken and we were then led to a table at the far end of the bar area where tables were shielded from other tables by sheets of perspex. We had table-service from the bar for the 4 hours that we were there by fully masked-up members of staff. We felt very safe and comfortable catching up with our friends in such a controlled environment. 10/10 to all the staff there, we will spread the word and we will be back 👏

This gem of a restaurant and pub have an excellent outdoor service. So if it’s a sunny day, this has to be your spot to stop to eat and enjoy the coast view and Croagh Patrick off to the left.
Food selection is good and the standard is high so you’ll leave content.
P. E.I would not recommand this place... booked a place outside, had to go inside! Secondly, some beers and food were NOT available. A non go for me!!!

Marie our server, was brilliant and a credit to The Towers. She explained everything perfectly on how to see the menu digitally and was so nice! There was a little hiccup with our order but she was right on it, and sorted some extra chips asap so no delay with the food, which was great as we were starving. The food was brilliant, highly recommend the salmon main, cooked to perfection.
Would definitely go back when visiting Westport again!

S. F.Great spot after a nice hike up and down Croagh Patrick on your way back to Westport. They have indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the pier, lovely on a sunny day. We were lucky enough to be able to get a table after walking up, with the usual 90 minute rule. Lots of people working at 5pm on a Friday, very quick service, 3 waiters ready to take our order. The chicken burger with blue cheese was delicious and the Guinness was mighty. Would dine again!

Booking: simple. 10/10 couldn't be easier. Just called in advance that day for a table of 5. No problem there.
Location: Amazing!
Honestly picture perfect postcard setting. You had the restaurant on the harbour! No on the street but right next to harbour. You co u ld probably jump in and catch your own catch of the day. And ontop of that the outdoor seating area is very spacious with a canope over top.. and out in the background is Croagh Patrick. At sunset too. Photos will be included.
Welcoming: Very good.
Right away were greeted with a smile and told them about the reservation and got seated right away. I will say right away the seating wasn't my favourite as since there were 5 people we were placed at a 4 person table and had a fish chair at the end of the table which made things a bit awkward for eating and space but no big deal really.
Ordering: Efficient.
Service time: very happy.
We gave our orders.. only one got a starter which was the seafood chowder which was rather well sized portion with brown bread. Literally within 2 minutes it arrived!
And then within another 30 minutes we got served all our mains.
2 fish and chips, 1 10oz sirloin steak, and a beef burger.
Quality /quantity of food: awesome.
Big square section if fresh fish friend perfectly. Extremely tender. Falling off the fork. Big portion with some salad and a cup of chips.
Steak was medium rare perfectly cooked with a stack of mushroom and onions. A cup of chips, side salad and peppercorn sauce which was gold.
And the beef burger came with side salad and chips.
Desert: Perfect.
The two specials on this day was plum and apple crumble with custard and ice cream. My friend got the mocha cheese cake which was ultra light and fluffy. Served with icecream.
All in all it was pretty much perfect. Cant get better locstion or food for that price.

a. s.We order junior Irish steak for our 4 years old daughter, lamb shank, and seafood pizza. It was really nice and delicious. The portion was big for us as Indonesians. We really liked the lamb shank, my daughter also liked it. We will come back if there is a chance to visit Westport again.

B. M.To say that the restaurant was busy is very true. Earlier in the day I booked a table for 2 at a time when the peak was past. It was busy then. The mussels starter for 1 was good for 2. The trio of fish mains was excellent. I had an excellent fish and chips. A nice white wine and change from €70.00. A great time.
L. x.I'm giving three stars for here, because the staff where just amazing and friendly. Beer was good and the views are fantastic. Sadly the food and price let it down majorly. We had oysters which where enjoyable. Then my partner crab claws and i had fish pie. Both portions very small with just salads as sides. 14 euro roughly for the mains. Massively over priced for what we got. The crab claws where very tough for crab meat. The "creamy" fish pie was just awful. Sauce was basically a white water, very funny with zero flavour. Massively under seasoned. Topping (I say topping but it took up over a 3rd of the dish) was giant scoops of mash covered in cheap cheddar cheese which was plastic tasting. Fish in the pie wasn't great either. I found a fly walking in my salad which must not have been washed.
All in all I would not recommend eating here, but I would recommend it for a pint with
A beautiful outdoor area and a fab little playground for the kids.
Staff again where just wonderful and this review is not a reflection on them.

As for the staff, they seemed very rushed to take our order and clear our table.. overall I give it 3 stars, nice restuarant, nice setting, but needs improvement with staff attitude and quality of food, oh and the other clients and their noisy kids..a big let down for such a beautiful location, but that comes with the package for a family restuarant I guess.. give it a go anyway if your in town, maybe others experience will be better than ours tonight

C. R.Stayed at the Towers accomdation for two nights over new years. The apartments are fab, very clean with a fully equipped kitchen and lovely view of the bay. R. L.The bar and restaurant is great, it is in a great location, , overooking the bay and Croagh Patrick, has a lovely outdoor area with a little playground for kids. The inside decor of the pub is also gorgeous, with an aquarium behind the bar.
Food and pints are lovely. Definitely a place to visit.
The only thing is the service, the manager I think ( a foreign girl) was very rude and put me off going to the restaurant again ( her English was really bad too- have no idea who hired her). Hopefully she's only there for the summer and will be gone in September. The other bartenders and waitresses were really nice.

H.Lovely restaurant on the sea in Westport harbor, with fresh seafood the main attraction on the menu.We started our dinner with fresh Atlantic oysters they were delicious with that incomparable taste of the Sea, followed by Organic Salmon linguini, the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and the linguini did a languid waltz on my tongue and the look on my wife face told me she was having the same Experience. Lovely Food, great evening. And as a famous Austrian said on more than one occasion, "I will be back".
