Love! I visited this town from California and this adorable cafe/farm shop was just the kind of quaint place I would search for when I travel. Great food, great coffee and just so friendly. I went 4 times while I was there! Highly recommend for locals and travelers alike.

I found this place on google maps, it said it had nice coffee so off we went. I didn't realise it was such a popular place and that we would be waiting 45 mins for a table, however if you can get past that (We did!) This place is amazing. The looks of the sitting area is so good and comfortable. I loved all the plants everywhere. The food was very tasty and looked great. The coffee is strong and delicious. Overall a very pleasant few hours.

Had a delicious late lunch here recently. Lovely decor, with many African touches. I had the pasta dish while my husband had duck salad. They were extremely flavoursome and looked fantastic. I was a bit cold but that was probably due to extra ventilation for Covid purposes. The service was friendly and efficient. We'll be back!

I heard and read about Karoo Cafe but I must say it was far and above all that. The food is amazing as is the coffee, and the helpful, interested, understanding and patient staff, they make it the complete package. Honestly if you are anywhere nearby please go and treat yourself and I promise you will come out smiling and thinking “he was right!”

I was out with my friend when we were dropping off some one at Rosslare Strand. It was almost breakfast time and he told me there is a nice place just behind the garage on the main road. I was in mood to gobble so we ended up over here fairly quickly. On first impression it’s looks like a quaint small place with wooden interior. There were a handful of people there but it was surprisingly quiet and mellow in here. The host who attended us and the server were both courteous and very good. They had a smoothie of the week with apples, cranberries, bananas and one more fruit, can’t remember, I ordered that. Along with it I ordered a basic sandwich with eggs, veggies and cheese. The smoothie was fresh and had such a delightful flavor that it made my day. Sandwich was fulfilling, just the way I like it. I also ordered a bagel with salmon for takeaway which I took around the evening at home. I have never had a such a satisfying experience eating bagels like this one and it was filled with layer after layer of smoked salmon. At the given price tag, they are offering a lot more for your buck. A bit away from the main town but it’s a worthy recommendation.

Karoo has a lovely new outdoor seating area. They don’t take reservations so be prepared to wait a while for a table ( which I am more than happy to do). The coffee is not to my liking ( sorry guys…. you can’t please everyone all the time I guess😂😂😂) but the food is more than worth the trip out.

Me and my girlfriend's had lunch , they didn't had lamb for the day! And the lovely waitress suggested the burger, I'm not really a fan of burgers, but when the waitress said you won't be disappointed, I thought I'd give it a go....wow wow wow... compliments to the chef, I can 100% say I never had any one made a burger so perfectly cooked to my liking, the beef wasn't over cooked but was medium rare and everything else was super fresh! We'll done👌 can't wait to visit y'all again!😁

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The coffee however is just mediocre and has no special taste. From a farm shop I would furthermore expect to bake cakes or muffins in-house but instead they just resell industrialized mass products, which does not make sense to me. I assume that the profit is higher on factory refined products.

I went here with my partner for a lunch with friends and it was absolutely delicious. Clint (the owner) is friendly and funny and his food is delicious. A great menu and a great atmosphere, a proper individual restaurant and I would definelty recommend. Oh! There is also a shop as you go in the door where they sell a myriad of different foods including a superb selection of local produce. 5/5

Called over for lunch whilst the food is amazing there's very little space in the restaurant & they appear to have put in more tables & chairs so you're literally sitting on top of strangers which I don't like I find it very uncomfortable as no one can move their chairs, it's a job in itself to get away from your table, cannot fault the food though it's gorgeous.
