Went for a meal for 2 with my wife recently. The food was excellent with a great choice in a warm atmosphere. They have a bar with a great selection of wine,spirits and even cocktails although I was doing the dry January but they even had a non alcohol range of drinks also.

The red duck curry here is just amazing. The melt in the mouth carved duck breast is served on top of the creamy curry sauce with nice Thai veg. Standout dish. They serve a nice medium dry cider ,Cronin's, by the bottle which is perfect with spicy Thai dishes.

Definitely best asian food in Ireland. We spent few days in Wexford and we had lunch in Red Elephant for 3 days in a row.First of all,staff members were over and beyond nice,since first day we came for lunch.Anika,Sloba,Branislava were very helpful,they made us feel like home.With a smile on their faces they were welcoming us each of 3 days,joking with us and answering all our questions.All other staff members were very nice too,so Cheers to all of them! Food was delicious,nicely cooked and very fresh.Good job chef/owner! We couldn't believe that such delicious food was also very cheap. So if you ever come to Wexford make sure to visit Red Elephant for their lovely food and staff,we will definitely come again!!! Cheers

We had a lovely meal at the red elephant. The food was really tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait for ages for our orders to arrive. All items on the menu are reasonably priced (nothing over €15) I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back!

Just had a beautiful meal in The Red Elephant. Service was very good and the quality of the food was exceptional. We availed of " the lunch special " (available from 12 until 5) at 9.99€ each, and I would have to say it was the best value I've received in quite a while. My wife had a prawn dish , my granddaughter had the duck and I went for a beef dish .The "special " also included a Gelato which finished off our dining very well. All the meals were beautiful to eat and we were all suitably impressed.This was our first visit to The Red Elephant but certainly won't be our last. Very pleased with our new discovery!.

Pretty good food and large portions. However the Pho Bo is not authentic, not even for "street food" quality. I'm not sure what it is, but does not taste anything like Pho Bo, and the ingredients are weird... hopefully the restaurant renames this dish as it's pretty misleading for people who know what Pho Bo is and are craving it.

Really nice experience the Thai food was freshly cooked tasted beautiful and was nice and spicy. Huge portions too and the staff are friendly & efficient. I came back from Wexford this evening from yet another visit over there. I couldn't resist not going back to the Red Elephant :)! The food is really delectable and nutritious, especially if you like spicy meals. I do 😍! But it doesn't mean they don't serve other types of Thai/Asian food. Everyone will find something to please their palate 🍜. I also didn't forget to pick up my fav spicy sauce from the same place.

After a long day at Hook Lighthouse we headed back to Wexford town to grab some food. We spotted The Red Elephant and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent. The staff friendly. Our son loved the food and his portion was a proper size and not the usual kids size where they’re left wanting more. Highly recommended if you’re stopping in Wexford for a bite to eat

This place is all class the veg in the curry is fresh, the staff are so nice. I spoke to the owner on many occasions, he is always in the kitchen, very hands on, preparing the delicious food. We are a vegan vegetarian and gluten free family, there is always something for us all. We order here all the time.

The waiter was a very nice friendly guy and looked after us very well. He attended to us with the perfect amount of service, not too much, not too little. Service was perfect. We were served our food quickly and were left to finished or starters completely before they bothered us for the main. Timing was impeccable. Even the very nice chef came out to us to explain our dishes to us to ensure we'd be happy. Excellent service. Regarding the food itself, there was a decent amount of vegan dishes, all of which tasted gorgeous. All food was excellent, with good proportions and wonderful flavours, perhaps the best I've ever tried. And the price was fair. Will definitely be back here many times on my many visits to this quaint town.

Good portions and value for money. Reason for the 3 stars is I had the green chicken curry and it tasted strange, unlike any green curry I’ve had anywhere else in my life time! Not traditional tasting like you get in most Thai restaurants so I think the recipe needs to be looked at. I’ve yet to try other items but I will do very soon.

Very friendly waitress took our order. My friend and I shared two mains, beef and ginger and green curry. They were both lovely and tasty, and very fresh. The beef in fact had a lovely fresh ginger zing to it, and was my favourite of the two dishes. The curry was spicy and tasty. Service was exceptionally fast. Realised once we left we'd had the lunch special, so the whole lot was only €20 for the two mains. A defo must revisit.

Visited today for lunch with a friend- I'm vegan and not all places cater for that. Lots of veggie options and the extremely pleasant and professional server checked with the kitchen who assured me they could pretty much tailor anything for me. I had a hankering for satay and despite no main on menu for it they made me one with vegan friendly sauce served on the side of a massive bowl of deliciously cooked veg- a brown rice came with this and all for a tenner- only for i was starved I wouldn't have finished it- my friends main was also €10 and she was equally happy. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered a complimentary scoop of ice cream/sorbet so again sorbet suited my needs. Extremely good value for money, delicious food, lovely premises, very friendly staff with perfect level of service, very central location. When in wexford again I'll defo be going and will be advising anyone I know going there to do same

The best asian food in Wexford. Unfortunately they use super ser gas heaters during the winter, which are incredibly dangerous with no ventilation. As one of our family suffers with asthma, we are unable to visit during the cold months. I suggested they change their heating to a non-omitting source (Oil filled radiators or air conditioning) however they have not done this, which is disappointing.

We've been here a good few times now and the service and the food is always the best. The staff is really nice and we're always well looked after. The food is really delicious. I can just recommend this place to everyone who likes asian food.

Very cozy place, with views of the port. It has background music and is not too noisy, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The decoration is very beautiful, with many wooden details and plants that give a lot of life, and it is also very well lit. The food is very good and very well presented, but it is quite spicy. I ordered Jai Khao pad, which doesn't say itchy on the menu, and it was really itchy. It was still very good and I wouldn't mind eating it again, even if it was spicy.
