No doubt about this place. It’s simply a stellar combination of food and decor. Vegan food options was something I was really impressed with. I only tried pancakes on that day but would definitely go back to try their lunch menu. You get spoiled with salad choices in this place as I had some of them for takeaway. Hard to miss it if you are a vegan or want something fresh!

Very nice and quiet place for a quick breakfast. No table service, order at the till. Salad bar looked amazing. Ordered breakfast from menu, it was fresh and delicious. Coffee was nice as well. Cosy place to sit and eat. Service very nice, polite and pleasant. Clean and comfortable seats.

I love Westgate and I visit the cafe on daily basis. Only thing I don’t get is about the restaurant - why aren’t there normal (printed) menus for guests to sit down and decide what they want to eat in peace? For me personally, standing in line and looking at the long menu on the wall - it just a bad experience

A seriously cool place to graze and gaze. A beautiful interior homeware design shop with a fantastic crypt cafe restaurant. Food here was great on a cold late December morning in fabulous Wexford. This shop is typical of someone having a vision and seeing it through. Definitely recommend the coffee and food, and shop.

Lovely coffee although I have given it up so I get my Chai here instead now. Food is delicious can be busy at peak times like lunch due to the limited space they have which is to be expected but worth the wait if you can hold on.

I always love coming here for lunch, they have a fantastic range of healthy yet interesting dishes! Plenty of delicious vegetarian options to choose from also. It’s always busy in Westgate and with good reason. There’s no table service but a simple system of going to the deli counter where you can see all of the foods you can choose from, take your number and your lunch will be brought to you. Even on busy days I’ve never had to wait too long! They also have a range of delicious cakes and scones with plenty of special dietary options and they’re coffee is just caffeine heaven.. would highly recommend!

October 8, 2023, Monday: We had lunch as usual at Westgate Design Shop Restaurant after shopping in Wexford. I had Seafood Chowder as starter and as daily offers - 3 types of sallad of choice. The food were delicious and very filling. Highly recommendable.

I'm long overdue to leave a review for Westgate. Darron & his team are always a pleasure to deal with. We have a self-catering property for large groups and over the last couple of years our guests have often used Westgate at our recommendation and everyone has complimented them on their tasty food & great service. I can always recommend them to anyone with confidence. They have done weddings, birthdays & anniversaries here and always get it right. So good for catering for vegans & other special diets too, so that the meat eaters are looking enviously at them, rather than the other way around! On a personal note, I love the cafe. The gift shop is perfect for picking up a present for a discerning recipient! Their coffee is the best in town & their pear scones are my absolute favourite!

If you in Wexford you simply must drop into Westgate to browse the fab jewelry, candles, ornaments etc and have anything from a quick coffee to Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or Dinner in the amazing cafe downstairs! I often travel from Waterford especially for the Superfood Wrap as in the photo. Try it. You won't regret it.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Fresh tastey food. The staff are so friendly and always seem to be happy in there job. If I had one criticism it’s the process. Cue to order your food. Cue to pay for your food, wait to receive your food. It’s a bit frustrating but never would turn me off the place. Hence the 5 stars.

Sophisticated coffee shop, gift shop and restaurant. Friendly staff, soothing jazz music and tasty food. Beautiful artwork all around the restaurant by local artist Paddy Lennon. I will be back for more of the delicious breakfast. If wasn't a full five star for me but I'd definitely be back for more.

Nice shop full of bespoke and unique items. Has a good little deli counter and the resultant has everything from the usual irish breakfast to the best fresh healthy option. Can be very busy sometimes but has plenty of seating.

Excellent vegan food options and a very reasonable price, really friendly and helpful staff. Large sitting area downstairs, very well decorated, ideal for groups whether it's for a meal or just to grab a coffee and treat. Would highly recommend a visit if in Wexford

I liked the craft shop and contents on the street level floor, great place for unusual crafty gifts and cards but the Cafe on basement level has no natural light which is a complete turn off. Coffee, Pelligrino bottled water and scones very good and priced well. Toilets very clean. Would not return to Café only because of no natural light issue.

A hidden jem in the middle of Wexford many people pass by oblivious to the restaurant/cafe downstairs. Great place to sneak off for a quiet coffee. There's a diverse menu with a little something for everyone, including a nice selection of breads and pastries.

The food here is usually very tasty, and there are vegan options, including a range of chocolatey bite-size treats. There's a cafe-bistro atmosphere, with nooks and crannies to hide oneself away in. The shop part of Westgate Design stocks a good range of items at mid-range prices, many of them Irish. It's a good place to find gifts.
