A. K. T.We had a delicious seafood meal here,it was so good that we had the 3 course offer.We both had the scallops to start,then I had the turbot special and my husband had the fish and chips. Everything was fresh and beautifully cooked,the presentation was colourful with great use of brunoise of vegetables and fruit,as well as edible flowers. Lovely to see a retro dessert of baked Alaska back on the menu.
3 course meal,2 glasses of Chardonnay and a sparkling mineral water for €112
N. H.Stunning food such great quality. Friendly waiting staff, was nice to hear him talking and laughing with customers. Sharing platter is a must to start. Cod and mussels main was beautiful. Can't wait to go again.

C. S.Michelin standard food. Every morsel was sumptuous. Fantastic friendly service. Great choice of fish, meat and vegan options. We had the Christmas menu which started with a cocktail. My starter was the tastiest, freshest prawn & calamari tempura ever. My main of hake was delicious as was the Christmas desert selection of small deserts. The very tasty poached pear in mulled wine, chocolate mousse and a fabulous mince pie. All the dishes were immpecibly presented. The meal was fantastic value. This is definitely the best food in Wicklow. Spread the word, this place deserves our support.

Wicklow Town has lacked quality restaurants for years, with an offering of run of the mill restaurants, with "average at best" menus. Blue has upped-the-ante considerably with their spectacular menu.
I had the Seafood chowder to start - I consider myself to be a chowder aficianado, but I was blown away with the chowder presented in Blue. The flavours were intense, in this beautifully presented dish.
For mains I had the Surf and Turf which was spectacular in every way.
For dessert I had the selection of ice creams with anglaise.
One of my sons is vegetarian and he was exceptionally impressed with the vegetarian options available. We were all extremely impressed with both the food and professional service provided.
Blue restaurant is a very welcome addition to a town that has lacked a top quality fish and seafood restaurant for too long. This will be our new "go to" restaurant, from here on!

The Calamri was the nicest I have ever tasted. The Chicken Terrine was a winner for my partner 🏆 The lamb was again nicest I've ever tasted, it melted in my mouth 👌 If you have room try the Baked Alaska, you will not regret it! M. B.Lovely atmosphere with a buzzy kitchen and friendly staff. Some nice options on the menu which is priced on the basis of two courses or three. The specials of the day were scallops and black pudding with pea puree (starters) and monkfish with a sauce of mussels and greens (main course). Both were excellent. Give it a try!

I. W.Second week in a row to get their lockdown takeout and this week was just as exceptional.
The starter of Ham hock terrine with black pudding croquette, salad leaves, celeriac remoulade, bread and dressing was a meal in itself. Fish pie was beautiful, creamy but light with velvet mash on top and the berry and fruit crumble with vanilla custard was just tarte enough to not be overly sweet. Worth every penny and great value at €25 per person
