We ate in Clancy’s last night. The food was fabulous with excellent presentation. The staff were amazing., although they were busy we were exceptionally well looked after. The Christmas menu is delicious, with great choice and excellent value. All Covid protocols followed, overall a fantastic night out!!!

Lovely outside area. The good is devine. Came quickly and was fresh. Very nice presentation. I must say that the service needs to be upskilled. When you see waiters and waitresses making fun of one of them in front of customers, waiting talking to each other while customers are waiting to order... This is not on.

Visited there yesterday with my daughter, couldn't fault the whole experience bar the menu.Chips seemed to be served with most dishes ,rice or pasta didn't seem to be available .Maybe having a roast of the day ,with the option of potatoes and vegetables would improve the menu . have been to Clancy's on a number of occasions and it never fails to deliver. As I travelled the country this summer it was obvious various premises were struggling to train new younger staff members and service suffered as result. Congratulations to the management here as all the staff behaved like veterans.

Spectacular beach side bar with great choice of background music, attentive staff good menu and most important of all a cork stout Beamish at the ready when indoor indoor hospitality gets rubber stamp for vaccinated folks like me eager to display the provenance of my credentials when requested. Such a lovely weekend of weather I will stay tomorrow night also and pop in again after a tour around this medieval town with all variety of ancient things to see followed by fabulous lifeguard maintained safe beach with great bar to top it off

Lovely place, staff seem very nice. Food is delicious and reasonably priced for the quality of it. Cocktails are very affordable and tasty. The presentation of the food is really nicely put together. Have been for lunch a few times and its always good, service is quick. Went for dinner a few weeks back on a saturday night. Booked it for 8pm and arrived at 7.45. Let them know we were there and waited by the bar with a drink. It was 8.30 before we were seated which normally i would have been pissed about but the place was very busy with staff rushed off their feet and the cocktails were so nice that i didn't mind too much. We had no after plans so we were ok waiting but if we had somewhere else to go after then it would be different. The food was worth the wait too. Sidenote: chips came with two dips ketchup and what i thought was bbq which i dont like but it was gravy so that was an unexpected bonus haha. All in all though it is a really nice place and within comfortable walking distance (i was wearing heels) of the town centre while also be far enough out to be able to enjoy lovely sea views. We ended date night with a trip to the arcade which was also within walking distance.

Excellent Efficient And Very Friendly Staff, At Clancy's Portable Vendor During These Challenging Covid Restrictions , Where They Serve Beautiful Pizzas And Chips Etc , With A Variety Of Beverages, Cappuccinos, Hot Chocolate Etc .A Must Visit During Your Day At The Wonderful Youghal Beech..This Outdoor Area , Is So Close To The Beech And Has Ample Well Distanced Seating Benches, Some With Sun Umbrellas, And Access To The Main Bar Toilets. Gorgeous setting and a great buzz for a Tuesday night. Service was efficient but lacking in other areas. Main course of the Cannelloni (which was ravioli on the night) was delicious. Tasty sauce and pasta cooked well. The menu was let down by dessert. Every dish seems to be plated on the same base plate, giving the impression that this course is a bit neglected. The apple crumble was pleasant but could do without being smothered in icing sugar, really took away from the textures on offer. All in all, fabulous location and the kitchen has lots to offer, will be back.

There's a model train that goes around at ceiling level in the bar which the kids loved. Toilets were impeccable. Bet scenic area. Outside area is really enjoyable in a fine day. We ate here during a holiday having scoured Youghal for its finest reasonably-priced restaurant. Everyone in our party was delighted with the quality, size and speed of our meal. The prices were proportional to the food offered and the service was prompt, courteous, professional and friendly. Specific requests were catered to without question. The atmosphere and layout were ideal, especially for the warm weather, although I think it would be cosy in the rain as well! Overall the most satisfying food we had on our trip. I should mention also that the manager was very accommodating to our rather late booking for 10 people, which is a very good sign!

Clancy's is a Bar and Restaurant very near Youghal Strand and Beach. Just a stone throw from miles of Sandy beach where people go for walks either on the sand or walk path along by the sea. Open from 12:30 has a wide range of Food and drink available at Clancy's in Youghal. Nice place to visit for a bite to eat or a drink or hot or cold beverages. Great view from here. Live music here now and again. Nice friendly staff. Good place for groups family or just on your own.
