The best chips I ever had!!!! That’s the review. Everything else was nice (service, decor, menu) but oh my, those chips. Hand cut, skins on, crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Beauty!

Loved Rendezvous!! We visited at least 3 times in the few days we were in Youghal! Everything we had was fabulous (fish and chips, vegetable soup, smokey chicken panini, cappuccino, cider etc.). If you're going to be in County Cork, Youghal is definitely a town worth stopping in and you've got to have a bite and a pint at Rendezvous!!

Reopened restaurant. Honestly amazing. I have no complaints what so ever, was a 10/10 experience from the second I walked in the door, Staff is so friendly, very welcoming and the food is cooked to perfection. Portion size is brilliant and the tiramisu and Oreo cheesecake are to die for. Shall be returning more often

Has reopened in 2019 as Rendezvous Restaurant. I tried the fish and chips which was very nice indeed. The service was good and very friendly. It was busy on the Sunday I was there. The food was very good and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend it as a place for a quick snack or a full meal.

Family of 4 visited for lunch. Sat outdoors on a sunny day. Expensive at 49.50......sausages were overcooked and the fries are wedges so kids didnt eat them. Club sambo was good and coffee was good.

While waiting for the Ironman registration to open, our group was just walking around town looking for a nice place to eat. We spotted a few restaurants but came across the Rendezvous Restaurant by the clock tower. We saw the menu in the window and was enticed to go inside. (Note: at the time of third review, the menu in the window did not reflect the current prices on the menu inside) We ordered coffee, fish and chips, burgers, and the cajun chicken salads. Everything came out hot and fresh. I ordered coffee, water, and the cajun chicken salad. The water had a pleasant flavor and came in nice cold water flasks to fill glasses (Note: we had gone to a restaurant the previous day and the water was like licking 100 year old pipes). The coffee cane out hot and had a great taste to it. I'm no coffee connoisseur, so my taste buds may vary from yours. The cajun chicken salad was incredible. Right groin the start the chicken was hot, the salad with dressing was very balanced, and the kick from the spice only slightly overwhelmed you from the start. I truly enjoyed the salad and highly recommend it. A few of us wanted to take advantage of the dessert offerings, specifically the Tiramisu. Unfortunately, they were sold out. Upon leaving, I took a few seconds to thank the owner/manager and complimented him on the salad. Service was excellent, food was phenomenal, and the price was still reasonable. Would have loved to have tried the Tiramisu.

Stopped here on our way back to Cork after a daytrip to Lismore Castle. Both adults and children were starving, thankfully we got an excellant meal and service for great value also.

We called in as a family on the way back from foto wild life and all I can say is wow the food is absolutely gorgeous down to the kids portions I could not fault a thing very reasonable prices and portion sizes are very generous thank you very much we will be back at some stage again

This a lovely little cafe (don't be put off by the slightly shabby outside inside is cute) we had breakfast here on Sunday morning. The owner couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We had one full Irish with scrambled eggs (which were rated as the best scrambled eggs he's has for along time... High praise indeed 😊) I had a fabulous omelette with smoked bacon cheese and onion.. Really tasty and so big I left over a quarter of it. Iaske dfor relish on the side which was also tasty. We had tea which was lovely (we're Irish.. Tea taste is very important) and the owner gave a ful refill without being asked. Lovely little spot and we'll Def be back..

Waited ages for American hotdog and chips, hotdog came and was awful, bun was overcooked and there was nothing with it only the sausage, no onion or anything. Was disappointing, was saved from complete disappointment with the amazing homemade chips.
