B. C.We have stayed here many times and the Clonakilty Park Hotel is still great for all the family.
I had a room in the hotel in September when on business in the area. This time, relaxing with family, we had a self catering house which was well maintained, very clean and comfortable and spacious with all the equipment and furnishings you need (incl. very, very comfortable beds and good WIFI).
Food was fab with ample choice and quantity. Try the vegan lentil burger.
Staff are lovely, well trained, genuinely friendly, polite and quick to help. Despite all the Covid pressures, the hotel operates smoothly for the guest.
Big shout out to all the staff; thank you!
The hotel was refurbished recently and it so works! - it uses a very luxurious colour scheme and a layout which is welcoming to adults and young alike.
There is also a leisure centre, adventure play area, and cinema on the site and it's located a short walk to the high street and sea views.
We'll be back!

If you are looking for a family friendly hotel that offers inclusiveness to all kids and adults this is your place to stay the staff are so understanding to extra needs and so polite and attentive from the reception to the jungle gym they are truly amazing we will definitely stay aagin

T. W.So much to do for kids. Our toddler had a ball. We unfortunately only stayed one night so didnt get to do everything. Rooms were great and spacious. Staff were fabulous, food was lovely. They dont charge for food for under 3s which I thought was such a lovely gesture. Plenty to do indoors on a rainy day! Cant wait to go back .

N. B.We went for food here today. I have to say our experience was above 5 stars. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted and directed as to which way to go to have food.
We waited to be seated and the girl who seated us was really friendly, helpful, courteous etc. We had table service and the food was very good too. Our whole experience was 100% positive from the offset. Highly recommend this hotel.

A. W.This year hasn't been the easiest of years for any of us, so when we got the opportunity to go on a staycation we jumped at it. There were five of us including our three grown up children. We booked one of the houses just opposite the hotel for 6 nights. The house comprised good sized kitchen/livingroom and loo downstairs. Upstairs was a family bathroom as well as three bedrooms - 1. Double bed with ensuite. 2. Double and single bed. 3. Bunk beds for two. The house was spotless and had all the mod-cons we could need. It was also spacious enough that 5 adults were not tripping over each other. And joy of joy, the wireless network was full bars and very quick.
The hotel and leisure centre were excellent as indeed was the restaurant where we ate breakfast and dinner on a few of the nights. I was a little anxious about how they would be implementing the COVID-19 safety requirements, but I needn't have worried as they had all safety measures perfectly in place across the entire complex.
Great hotel situated in one of the nicest parts of Ireland with smiling, helpful friendly staff. Will we be back? Definitely :-)
PS. If you happen, to have young kids, this place is heaven with their leisure centre and activity park.

We had 8 children in our group and they had such an amazing time so much for them to do- the DJ at the children's disco was superb kept them entertained!! Highly recommend this hotel we will definitely be back!!

D. M.A quite pleasant stay but not without issues. When I arrived on the 21st January amidst a snow warning the radiator was not on in my room and it was cold. The tv remote did not work. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was grubby and the bin was rusty and grubby. There was an insect floating in the toilet. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, dining area under refurbishment so breakfast was in the bar which was fine, breakfast could be modernized a bit but functional. Staff were very friendly in general. Pool was good. I honestly expected more from this hotel on reading the reviews but left a bit disappointed, had planned bringing family for a few days in the summer but may rethink.
D. C.The hotel has been great. The room is comfortable and clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. There is a full Irish breakfast. I have eaten dinner in the hotel bar several times during my extended stay and every single meal has been terrific. The hotel is also walking distance from the town, which is full of wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars.

E. B. M.Lots of staff and all of them extremely friendly, kids had a ball at the jungle gym and pool. Highlight was the food, kids loved the kids all you can eat buffet, great value at €10 each and my pork fillet special was the nicest hotel dinner I've had in a long time. All staff extremely allergy aware, we were asked if any allergies or dietary requirements at both the jungle gym and when booking the restaurant. All kids food was peanut safe and my coeliac husband and lots of gluten free options.

Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
We made use of swimming pool every day. Kids loved it.
Teen area with Xboxes etc were mostly broken and no use really. That part needs a bit of attention.
Ate food in bar area. Good selection and bar staff very attentive. Kids wanted room service and even that was top notch.
Cinema within 5 min walking distance from hotel. High rope course was not open when we were there due to being off season.
Would definately recommend and will be booking again for next visit.
N. M.Fantastic place to stay. We've been here 4 times now. Fantastic place to bring kids. The rooms are really nice and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed in the apartments as well which are very spacious. There's loads to do in the hotel itself. There's the pool and gym. There's indoor and outdoor play area's for kids. There's a cinema for rainy days. There's an outdoor adventure area for all ages too. Couldn't recommend this hotel more. Well worth staying there. Clonakilty has loads to offer too. Beautiful town and beaches.

K. C.I've had a really great time here. The meals are fantastic, the service is excellent and the amenities are great. You can relax in the pool, go to the movies, eat at their awesome restaurants, grab an adult beverage or a nice latte before bed. We are within walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants. If you ever find yourself in Clonakilty, I recommend this hotel.
J. L.Great place for young families. A lot of play facilities on site. Well staffed , very courteous and helpful. Family hotel rooms are spacious. The hotel are refreshing the decor and room facilities which will be welcome but not essential (maybe new windows). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms well furnished and new TV. TV channels were limited but hotel offers cheap DVD rental scheme. Internet wifi bit limited in speed and availability, cutting out on occasion. Kids club was a success with our kids loving it. Clonakilty is also a wonderful place within a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
J. B.Pretty good. We stayed in the holiday cottages for a week. The staff were good and the cottage itself was clean but I'd say a bit overpriced. Supply and demand I suppose. Clonakility itself was lovely and the hotel is a very walkable distance from the town.

N. K.I love this hotel. Leisure centre has aquacise classes twice weekly with James who can break into song .30 to 40 in group and great atmosphere. Coffee with the lovely Isabella who smiles at everyone. Staff greet all customers warmly. Ideal for families. Outdoor and indoor playground too.

Hotel has been given a huge facelift and is looking great.
The hallways are fresh and clean.
The rooms could use an update but are very clean and comfortable.
Bathrooms definitely need an update.
Parking is ample and just outside the door.
Hotel has a pool,cinema,gym.
Sean in the bar was a huge hit massively friendly and welcoming to our group.
He should be commended.
We will return again,
And is there a bigger recommendation than that.
D. M.Great place for a trip away with the kids. Definitely try the Adventure park the kids loved it and the guys running it couldn't have been better. Excellent breakfast only thing they could do with is maple syrup for the pancakes. Swimming facilities 5 🌟 . 6 kids 9-10 had a great time.

Its child friendly, however the room doors should have lock so kids can't open it from inside, also child play area should be separated for the smallest kids as they keep wondering to the big kids area , so the parents can't relax for a minute . And as we all know when you are a parent all you wantvis to put your kid in to the ball pit and relax for the minute .
D. O.We brought our 3 month old and 2 year old and had a fantastic few days. The hotel has pretty much everything you need to enjoy a holiday.
The pool, play zone and playground were a big hit with our 2 year old, as was the on-site cinema.
The staff were all so helpful with everything and so friendly and nice.
We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments. The property is not brand new, but it is very very clean and was very recently painted.
It is also located very close to the beautiful Inchidoney beach, which is definitely a place to visit during a stay here.
I would definitely recommend the hotel for families. Kids of all ages would find something to do here.

K. N.Nice location. Couple of minutes drive from town centre. Hotel is clean and nice. Pool was good aswell as you get towels and changing room was big and secure lockers. Pool temperature was ok for us and our 2yro. Staff very helpful and friendly. Especially girl who was serving breakfast (dark hair, with glasses) if you are reading this just know that we really appreciate that you could cheer us up with the porridge that my daughter eats every morning 🤗
Cant say anything about the bar as we never ate there.
Restaurant was getting a "makeover" which was never mentioned anywhere.. It was a bit disappointing.
One thing I was really surprised that they charge you for a child using that playroom (jungle something) we got charged 4e for our 2yrso 1h stay. (In Dublin we pay 5e for 1.5h for 5 times bigger playroom and additional tea or coffee).
I dont think that its worth paying 11e extra for included breakfast as its always the same and wasnt even nice. Beans had weird taste.. And my hubby said that bakon had a smell 🤔
J. P. (.This is a wonderful hotel for families. Lots to do on and around the grounds. The staff were brilliant and our kids loved every moment of their stay. It was our first visit, but definitely not the last.
L. V.Room a tad small for a couple with a one year old and the toilet could have used a little more attention. The facilities are great, a leisure center with a big pool, playground for kids, a cafe, a bar and a restaurant. The leisure center gets fairly crowded with outside people though, and can be annoying rubbing arms with people putting on makeup in the changing room. Having a small kid, I found the heating was lacking a lot. The room got so cold during the night, we had to get the baby from the travel cot and sleep with him between us. Staff is over worked and it can be seen in the unfriendly attitude.

C. O.Spent a pleasant 2 nights here. Breakfast was reasonable, there was Clonakilty black pudding. Evening meal, I enjoyed, wife not so much. Good wife. Rooms were very hot. Shower was a disaster. When I said it on leaving, was told that there was a knack to it, sorry that's ridiculous. Electrics in the room were odd, we should have complained earlier about this. Staff were very friendly. Must say, probably a great place to bring kids. Clonakilty is a great place to walk around. Found it very strange that there was no light fitting on the ceiling.

I brought my two children with me who were bursting with excitment. The staff interacted amazingly with my four and two yr olds. p. p.Stayed at this hotel on the 27 & 28 of December 2019 we have stayed with this hotel the passed three years .Stay was good at first when we went to the bar with our 4 year old son I went to the bar to get a drink it was about ten o clock the bar man was cleaning the bar on the outside he looked at my son sitting on the stool and said to him no kids allowed my son ran back to his mother crying to say we not going to stay in the hotel the man said .When I asked the barman he said it is our new policy no kids after nine in bar ,I said ok but did say to the barman maybe you could put signs up to notify other people ,we proceeded to the hallway to finish our drink ,the next night my wife and son went to bar for food when it was nine o clock they went to the hallway as kids are not allowed in bar after nine ,my wife went into bar to order drink my son followed as she ordered drink this man from hotel said to my wife no kids allowed my wife said we are in the hallway he said your child should be in bed at nine ,my son started crying saying again mam we are not allowed in hotel ,this is a absolute disgrace and we will not be staying at this hotel again .I did contact the hotel they asked me to write an email which I did and did ring me I did ring back and gave my name to ring me but no reply,just writing this to let others know as to not waste your money .

T. T.Well located on the outskirts of Clonakilty town, still within walking distance of the town. Leisure centre is connected to the hotel, so do not have to go outside to access it. Lovely restaurant and bar with very approachable, friendly and helpful staff. Located very close to local 3 screen cinema. Also has holiday homes near hotel which I think can be booked through hotel too. Highly recommended.

As for the time it took to serve us, it was a bit excessive, but there was a lot of influx so it was understandable. En cuanto a los tiempos que se tardaban en servirnos fue un poco excesivo, pero había bastante afluencia así que era entendible.
