I've surfed in various places in Ireland, Morocco, Portugal, France, Spain, Costa Rica, the Canaries, Australia and Sri Lanka and this is the best surf school I've taken lessons in. It really is a clinic, you can say what you would like to focus on and they will also have some ideas. I would take an absolute beginners course in whichever school or meetup in Bundoran or somewhere. Then if you get interested in the sport and really want to get better, come to Ben's for a week and you will see the difference. Ok for fun surfers, as well, but I would see the most benefit for those who really want to get better. Say what kind of surfer you wanna be and they will accommodate. Awesome place, awesome people.

I've had surf lessons with many different schools and instructors in many parts of Ireland and across the Atlantic over the years, and I haven't yet found any that comes close to the standard of Ben's school. Ben and all instructors are not only knowledgable and great at what they do, they are also a friendly bunch and full of positive vibes. I did the weekend surf clinic with others recently and everyone's level has sky rocketed in less than 48 hours. Everyone in the water was looking at our group and envying us thanks to the helpful instructors Ben, Liam & Bradely. I never thought I'd be able to do what I did on that weekend! Definitely recommended and will be back for more!

Amazing experience! Did a weekend clinic with Ste and I was amazed by not only his level of knowledge, but his eagerness to help me improve. He gave consistently helpful feedback on the water and even helped us read the waves when we were on shore. Plus the whole process was so easy! Even during the pandemic, the shop was well organized and it was simply a matter of minutes from when I showed up to when we were in the water. 100% would highly recommend

Loved it the staff where so nice and they where very quick to what u asked changing rooms where lovley they where like private sheds for each person. They provide you with wetsuits and water shoes I was surprised they had my size I'm size 14 and they had bigger. When thay brought us out on the water it was lovley they had different groups for experienced people and new people. Very good place hope u enjoy it :)

Great service from Ben. Bought a wetsuit here and had great service, both before and after the sale and was happy to take the time to give a bit of surf coaching on the shop floor! We also rented boards which were good quality and in great condition.

Great, zero hassle. Went in, got the equipment and off we went to surf for 2 hrs. It was fantastic! Cheap, solid quality boards and comfortable wetsuits. Great facilities too.

I couldn't recommend Ben's Surf Clinic highly enough. Ben and his staff are experienced, educational, clear and always safety is paramount. I love their lessons and although you'll be exhausted you'll also be exhilarated! Booking myself back in after lockdown to dust off the cobwebs off my wetsuit.

Attended Ben's 2 day surf clinic over the weekend and found it incredible. Both Ben and Roisin were extremely helpful and professional throughout the weekend and the knowledge shared about surfing has really benefited me. I started the weekend a complete beginner with no real understanding of the basic's and only able to stand by kneeling on the board - I finished the weekend growing in confidence with each wave solely down to the constant guidance and direction from Ben and Roisin over the weekend! Above everything else it was brilliant fun and learned loads - would highly recommend!

Had a lovely weekend in Lahinch. Rented surfboard and body board here. It was such a great idea. Bens surf place were very friendly and helpful. Our wetsuits were sooo cosy and we had an exhilarating few hours, such affordable fun. Went back on Sunday and purchased a dry robe for my kids,almost impossible to find these days, well done.

Friends, I've had my share of experience with surf shops from Hawaii to El Salvador and many other points on this planet of ours and I have to say that the service I received at Ben's Surf Clinic was by far the best. I was in there twice during my stay in Lahinch and the staff were kind and helpful. If you get a chance to come out here THIS is the place to grab your gear and lessons.

Highly recommend. Ben is an excellent, detail oriented instructor. He really squeezed a lot of learning into two hours. On the down side it turns out I've been surfing wrong for years and no one told me until Ben 😂. The facilities are nice and an there variety of boards to choose from. Thanks guys, we will be back!

We were in Lahinch for a weekend break and my husband wanted to try surfing. I usually don't like to go into the sea but decided to go with it and book a lesson with Ben's surf clinic and I have to say I was so glad I did. Roisin was our instructor and she was briiliant. She broke down the lessons and made it great fun and spent time with each of us to make sure we knew what to do and correct our technique. If I was living closer I would book in every weekend. Highly recommend it.

THE place to go for rentals. Ben is super knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve surfed all over the world and was so pleased to see a nice (real!) surfboard collection alongside the huge collection of softboards for new surfers. New suits, enough selection to find something that fits perfect, etc. Everyone coming in from lessons was smiling so I’m sure it’s top notch for new surfers, too.

The staff are very helpfull and friendly, they really take the time to explain and talk you through everything you need to know and also great equipment. I even got some free knowledge off ben about reading swell forecast! Would highly recommend

Brilliant surf school. Proper instructors, show you how to surf correctly. (I had been to Bundoran, and I had to re-learn how to surf properly). The instructors (Ben and Brian) were amazing, really helpful! My skills are slowly improving. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend. 100%!!
