Training at Ganbaru over 2 years now and couldn’t have asked for a better club to get into Jiu Jitsu. Coaches and team mates are all welcoming from the very first day, very friendly atmosphere throughout training and most importantly the level of training is world class. Great training and vibes every class!

If you're looking to train BJJ Ganbaru is the place to go. The coaches are highly skilled and knowledgeable, most importantly they're great at communicating it in an understandable way. The atmosphere is really friendly and the gym is really clean. Can't recommend enough.

The best bjj gym in the south of Ireland. The coach's are great and patient with and all round friendly environment . I have trained all over the country and compete every year and some of the best and toughest rolls you can get are in Ganbaru Jiu Jitsu Waterford .

From absolute first day novice to seasoned competitors you’ll find everything you need at Ganbaru Jiu Jitsu Academy with all belts from white to black in a clean, well run and welcoming environment with a schedule to suit all. Starting training BJJ with the lads about mid March and I can’t talk highly enough about the place. I was very anxious about starting and from the minute I walked in the door I felt part of it all straight away. The classes and training is excellent and the gym itself is unreal. Recently began the MMA aswel which was the exact same, Quality coaching and felt really welcomed and part of the place, one of the best decisions I made was beginning training here and to anyone who’s thinking about starting BJJ or MMA I’d recommend Ganburu/TeamRhino, quality place with quality people 💪🏻👍🏼

I can't recommend Ganbaru Jiu Jitsu highly enough. The main coaches Richie Bolger and Kevin Arrigan are brilliant at breaking down seemingly complex Jiu Jitsu techniques into digestible pieces. All the members are friendly and help each other get better at the art of BJJ. If you are in the area and interested in martial arts such as BJJ, feel free to drop in and learn from friendly and highly skillful coaches .
