J. M.On 10/1/22 brought daughter to buy bike for birthday. €189. Child's seats in car so couldn't bring at that time. Couldn't pay and collect later as they refused to hold the bike. Called on 14/1/22 bike gone up to €219. Up €30 in 4 days. Disgraceful and disgusted. Couldn't go elsewhere as daughter had heart set on bike. Brought to attention of staff. They were dismissive and had a "tough luck" mentality. Work locally and have spent a lot of money in store through the years but would have to consider going there again. It was the principle if the whole transaction and dismissivness of staff.

G. H.I used to get thrown out of the original Smyth's when I was small for reading the comics without paying. This has no relevance to the modern smyths. But they do have loads of great toys. The Lego stuff particularly.
