An absolute gem of a shop. Thoughtfully curated and managed selection of world class board games. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Absolute heaven if you are a board game nerd like me. Good range of travel size and full size games. Lots of logic and card games too. Hidden away near the top of Stephens Green Shopping Center, but you should seek it out. Streets ahead of other large toy and games retailers. They also have an online store which is relatively well organized.

We spent Christmas Day with my parents playing a game called "Telestrations The Original Sketch, Pass and Guess Game". It was absolutely hilarious and everyone enjoyed it. I came home that evening and ordered 3 of them for my daughter and her two friends (25th December). I received them yesterday 30th December. To my knowledge there was no postal or courier service until yesterday so this was AMAZING service! Thanks and well done to all at Cogs the Brain Shop!

Always a great shop to browse. Great staff willing to help and point you in the right direction for what you fancy. There's fab games, jigsaws, puzzles, science games and activity books for all ages. Family themed, individual play ideas, team building, communication development, items to support the school curriculum. Lovely price points too. Some simple ideas for birthday presents, rewards or pocket money items or stocking fillers all the way up to some really lovely investment games that could be bought by a group. They are online too and have most of their stock matching what's in store. Watching Instagram to keep up to date. Highly recommend visiting.

I stumbled in Cogs yesterday when I ordered the Catan game for my sons birthday. I’m trying to get some gifts and give him a special day in the midst of our needs to remain at home.
