Reviews of Jerpoint Glass Studio
Beautiful studio with amazing glasswork and an upstairs gallery that exhibits the talents of a family beyond compare. The 2nds room allows you pick up incredible art, stemware, etc at an even more affordable rate and the 3 pups on the grounds will greet you with a smile and a bark.
Fantastic stuff, lovely set up and very helpful and friendly. Bought bits that will hold Kilkenny holiday memories forever. Can watch the glass making (not on weekends or Friday afternoon) with a lively shop and gallery. Items dotted around the garden also. DeDefinitely worth a vistt
Lovely to see the glass being handblown on site. The shop has beautiful glass and wood gifts. Well worth a visit.
Best glassware there is, and much more besides. Well worth a visit as you can get a tour of the glass blowing process too.
Jerpoint Glass Studio was a lovely studio with budget to suit everyone. However I was disappointed to miss the glass blowing as this is only midweek.
Beautiful glassware for sale, blown on site. They do demonstrations. Decorative and / or practical glassware. You can buy seconds here.
Wonderful glasswork and work for sale from local crafts people.
Really friendly family business, with some fabulous works of art. We actually came back a second time inside a week cause we were so impressed. We bought 2 gorgeous vases and a lovely painting which I’m just thrilled with. Plus a couple of other items. I’d defo visit again when I’m in the Kilkenny area.
A little enclave of irish artistry and craft. I got the most beautiful glasses that will be loved in my home forever. A wonderful place to browse and get inspired too.
Top tip: if you're looking for a wedding gift, this is the place.
A lovely place to visit when in Co. Kilkenny.
If you are in the area and have a car, I would recommend a visit to this glass-blowers and shop. The glass has been family-made here for decades, and they have beautiful gifts, large and small. Upstairs is a small gallery where local arts and crafts are shown. In addition to glass, you will also find a small selection of other small gift items.
Astonishing! We sat for a couple of hours watching the men work, our own episode of #How it's made . They were busy but took time to answer any questions. We were amazed as glasses, paper weights & jugs were made right in front of us. Gift shop was amazing, and we didn't leave empty handed.
This was an out of the way place and an amazing find. This family owned business really knows customer service. It was a pleasure to spend an hour watching them create stunning pieces of glass sculpture. Then to go into the gallery and choose a piece of usable art was fun. The family talent spreads beyond glass blowing into woodturning, painting and much more. Definitely a must see if you are in the Kilkenny area. It isn't far from Dublin either.
Top quality beautiful products (pieces of art) and very friendly owners. They do glass blowing and making workshops that are very popular. Located just 200 metres from Mount Juliet estate in Thomastown.
Watch skilled craftspeople make an Extensive range of handmade tableware and Giftware 5 days a week! Stand mere meters away from a furnace running at about 1200*C!!! Over 200 different items, from stemmed ware, bowls, jugs and vases to sculptural and decorative pieces all made on site, I should know, I Make about half of them! Come see us! Tell me I sent you 👌🏻

We found a box of these glasses in our barn, how they got there we'll never know, but we now use them all the time. Beautiful to handle, and great to drink from.

Interesting and fascinating
Very interesting to watch, very nice people and two dogs that you can almost scratch to death, beautiful glass work and various other crafts such as painting, woodwork, hand-knitted scarves and much more.
Very nice collection of glassware. Most of them for daily use. Also some real works of art. Original colored glass. We bought colored torches to put in the garden. Very nice. Unfortunately we did not see the glass blower at work.
Great stuff, it's easy to see how people work.
