Amazingly friendly and helpful people! We just arrived from Bermuda and purchased a cruising guide to western Ireland; the owner spent the next 15 minute going through the guide with us, pointing at all the good spots. Then answered all the questions a cruiser new to the area would ask (about good places for food, fuel, marine services etc...) and then went on to put us in contact with a marina that had a Travelift suited to our boat!

Good little store where I found everything I needed. Good advice on places to visit on the Irish west coast and in Galway itself. In addition, it is the only shipchandler within 200 m around. Very friendly as well.
