My instructor Hugh had the patience of a saint lol
But through his dedication and my perseverance I eventually managed to stand up and surf a wave 😁
And wow it’s a fabulous location where the surf school is
But please take note :::
I had booked about a week in advance and was informed that due to the conditions and forecast I would need to call the day before I was due my lesson to check if there would be waves suitable for me to learn on
And if I just arrived down and conditions weren’t right or there was no waves my option might be a paddle boarding lesson instead.
I called and was told that there would be a little wave and we could go ahead with the surf lesson.
So if you book well in advance my advice is to make sure you call the day before or morning your due your lesson before you travel to check whether there is suitable conditions for the surf lesson to proceed.
All in all I would highly recommend Brittas bay surf school for a wonderful experience on the water
