Myself and my husband brought our 3 small children to leisureland today! From the booking right through to leaving we had the most fabulous experience.... The staff were all so friendly, the place was clean and safe and it was so nice to have some normality again!! Thanks to all the staff and your hard work for a really great day! We can't wait to visit again soon!

Ah, LeisureLand dear I have spent half of my life here, and what do I have to say, one might ask ? I have plenty to say when I opened the doors of this place a smell of chlorine filled my lungs and gave me deja vu, I was no longer a man but a small child scared to go for a swim. I tried to think of any excuse possible to run away but it was no use, it was just fate and I had to go for a swim.

I've only ever visited the swimming pool but even so, it's a great place for families to spend a few hours! There are 3 pools, each have various depths so everyone of every height can get the best out of their swim. The slide is good fun too!

Was there for a swim. Clean and attentive lifeguards. 8euro an adult for a swim is a bit pricey. Good parking. Hot showers. Clean toilets. Floors very wet everywhere,but is a swimming pool, recommend flip flops.

Expertly run municipal pool and gym. Our children love it. Especially the spiral staircase leading to a giant tube that exits the building, twists round & round then returns to the pool area. There's a toddler pool and split large pool with adjustable depth. On Sunday afternoon it's kids only with the maximum depth around 1.5m. There’s loads of lifeguards at the children's session which is reassuring.

Clean swimming pool and changing rooms although the toilets can get a little messy as the day goes on. But other than that excellent pool, well supervised, plenty of parking and a great viewing area for parents!

It's a really good facility. I'm not looking for faults, but the lighting in the changing room area is terrible. Some changing rooms are not very well lit. This is a major issue if you have kids. Also, the exit gate (turnstile) is crazy. Try to exit with a load if bags and kids one at a time !!!!! Also, as you exit there is a steep drop to the left hand side where the steps are. So, if the kids go first then there is a serious danger they could fall down the steps. If you go first there is a chance your kid, especially very young ones who like like to ignore their parents (mine), will not follow you through. That said, the pool floor can be adjusted to suit kids. This is great for lessons and also great if you want to take small kids out of the baby pool. Technical they can create four different pool areas.

Great facilities. Plenty to keep children amused. Kiddies area big slide and 2 pools. Large inflatable from 3 to 6 daily. Kids 16 and 12 really enjoyed it

The gym is very clean, and the instructors (staff members) are quite nice. The pool is warm and good for swimming even during the coldest days of winter. Good sauna room and therapy.

We attended Trad On The Prom here. Ticket prices are more than reasonable, especially for the level of talent of the performers. This is a must-see if you're in the area. The facility us very pleasant.

Go swimming here often with my kids and it's good with clean changing rooms and a slide which is good. They have a large inflatable on Saturdays for younger kids too.

It's OK, good enough, one swimming pool is divided be wall for two (1.5m and another with changeable deep) one slide (too many people in the queue on Saturday) two saunas steam and dry. Small "puddle" for infants. 8 euros for adults and 7 for kids, 50c for hairdryer. Small Cafe there and playing ground (small area) if someone is waiting.

The gym is fine but it is not open on bank hoildays and public hoildays which is not convenient. The pool is large and very good for young children. There is a swim club there and I can advise that classes are high quality.

Since it re-opened the pool has a lot less features, especially for the kids. It still has that cool slide though. All in all its a great place. Food is available and changing rooms are nice and big

My son is learning to swim here, and it's Academy is much better than that at Kingfisher, Newcastle. Also had a nice panini with coffee for 6euro in the cafe. Relaxing atmosphere. I was there Wednesday afternoon.

While it's nice that Leisureland lets non-members use its facilities (as almost all gyms do these days) the 10 euro charge for a gym that isn't properly air conditioned, with water that isn't chilled (it's far too hot here to do any sustained aerobic work) seems quite difficult to justify. A place that relies entirely on its Salthill convenience - but that convience is worth a couple of stars.

What a fantastic night at #Tradontheprom! Couldn't recommend it enough, thanks to our friend Diarmuid for the invitation, no wonder it's voted the number one Irish show on Trip Advisor for no less than 9 years in a row!! Amazing stuff, what a showcase of Irish culture. Gaillimh Abú with Máirín, Chris Kelly, family and special guests. Best night out.

Attended trad on the prom_a pot pourri of the best of Irish traditional song music and dance presented to us by the Fahy Family from Loughrea What a performance_where do I start_where do I finish! Ingenium Naturam of the highest musical order came to light with the uileann pipes of Ger Fahy_he also played other instruments the fiddle playing of Therese Fahy The guitar playing of her husband the accordion playing of Ivonne Fahy and the wonderful dancing of various world class Irish dancers Lots of tunes came to the fore.I was particularly taken by Gerards musical tribute to his Mother and Thereses rendition of Mo Ghiolla Mear and who could forget the exhilarating performances by the array of dancers that came on the stage No wonder these performers have performed on other stages.In this regard Gerard was actively involved in Lord of the Dance by Michael Flately.Theres was involved in Riverdance and some of the dancers were also involved in Riverdance This has to be one of the best trad shows that I have seen for some time now_the riverdance of the west without doubt!

I really like the family/group changing rooms whenever they are available. There aren't many of them but there is plenty of space to spread out compared to the other changing rooms. The temperature of the pool varies sometimes it perfect and other times it can be a bit cool. Lots of showers also.
