K.Absolutely Amazing . I cannot recommend enough!! I've been here twice with friends . Once for a lesson and secondly for rental. Equipment is impeccable, wetsuits (rental included) were so clean, instructors and staff are so passionate. Even if you're feeling absolutely terrified , big style crew have your back ! We didn't feel rushed either. Recently led by Peter, great teacher and super patient. If you feel like trying it out , or feeling slightly curious, big style is the place to go . Harbour ensures there's no sneaky currents etc. No fear here ! Super safe and a great yet relaxing workout!

G. S.I went on the Moonlight Paddle with Kris and the BigStyle crew during the summer, and had an amazing time with them. I'd never been paddling before and quickly gained confidence on the board thanks to the team. The journey down the Liffey was beautiful, it was great to see Dublin from a different perspective. When we arrived at our destination, there was a yummy bbq waiting for us, they even had vegetarian options for us veggies. Can't wait for my next BigStyle adventure!
N. F.Cant recommend this enough! Had a great time out at dun Laoghaire. Very reasonably priced, the equipment was clean and in perfect condition, and the guys couldnt have been nicer. We lost a gopro in the water and they were a great help, giving us advice on where to look and letting us borrow equipment. Will definitely be back again!

The BigStyle boys. Most amazing group of people around.
I recently got home from their Tanzania kite surfing trip and can hands down say it was the best trip I’ve ever been on. Waking up in paradise, starting your day with a sunrise paddle to the local mangroves. Followed by a relaxing yoga class with Pete, the best in the business. Breakfast, then a dip in the pool and a full day of kiting topped off with a sunset cruise on the resident Dhow ‘Pepe’ and a chill evening session to sign off the night. That’s only day one and it only gets better from there.
This trip alone does not define these boys. They have the best SUP, kite and surfing instructors in the game. Taking people from noobs to pros in a matter of days. The instructors are patient, friendly and very knowledgeable so make the learning curve super easy.
If you’re thinking of doing anything with the BigStyle lads I cannot recommend it enough. Have loved everything I’ve done with this bunch of legends.
10/10 lads keep up the amazing work.
N. v. d. W.Awesome achievable adventures for all levels and most at a stones throw from Dublin city centre. The guys are great craic, all equipment provided and the food is something to write home about. I've done a number of trips with Kris and the crew at Big Style - I'd highly recommend any of their trips.
D. M.went to Tanzania with Big Style in January 2018. It was the trip of a lifetime. I had never kitesurfed before and was quite nervous (but determined) to try it out. The instructors were so professional, patient and kind. There was a lot of face planting, laughing and a few bruises but by the end of the week I was standing and honestly- it it felt like flying and magic had a baby. I can't wait until I get back up on a board and am intending to keep on learning with BigStyle back in Ireland.
Kitesurfing aside, the trip was the most fun we've have had in a long time. Each morning was spent practicing yoga and eating healthy, delicious food and most evenings were spent fireside drinking beers and playing guitar. The trip was the perfect antidote to the Irish January blues and we are already planning our trip back next year.
CAN'T RECOMMEND ENOUGH.
H. S.I've done kitesurfing and stand-up paddleboarding with the BigStyle crew in Dublin, and gone on several of their Irish adventure trips.
The crew are a great bunch and manage to create a great mixture of solid organization and total zaniness. Expect more fun than you can manage, with the guys always taking to extra step to put a smile on your face.
The BigStyle business is growing fast, mostly on the basis of personal recommendation from so many of his happy customers.
m. m.Great bunch of lads, running a great business. I did a weekend trip through BigStyle in louisburgh. I had an introduction to kitesurfing, paddleboarding and surfing mixed in with camping BBQing and plenty of craic! I loved it from start to finish.
I would recommend one of these trips to anyone as they catered to everyone on the trip from beginners to the more advance! I'm looking forward to my next BigStyle adventure!!
I. M. (.Currently learning to kitesurf with the lads. Very enjoyable sessions, great teachers. They do weekends away and trips abroad which I hear are not to be missed! A great place to start learning and the guys will have you up on the board in no time.

I had such an amazing time with the BigStyle team and the Irish group kitesurfing at that time south of Tanga! A big thank you to all instructors for your great and professional kitesurfing training, your patience and the great vibe you added to the trip, also outside training hours! I will definitely continue my kitesurfing endeavors :) highly recommended!

F. C.Went on the bigstyle trip to Tanzania in January and it didn't fail to disappoint. The lads looked after everything we needed and ensured that the craic was definitely 90! 🤘 This trip, or any of their trips, cater for all abilities, shapes and sizes. Kitesurfing with flamingos and downwinders through mangrove forests is a memory I'll have forever... Not to mention the friends, the beers, the wipeouts and the vibes! We're already planning a reunion trip out to Mayo with them, and while there, we're gonna be planning next year's Tanzania trip. Couldn't recommend them enough! Cheers boys

They provide great instruction for kitesurfing, keeping safety a priority and ensuring you advance through the various stages. C. M.Unique, easy going, outdoor adventure trips in Ireland and abroad (Sri Lanka, Tanzania). A great way to meet fun new people and get out in the fresh air for a holiday. Kiteboarding and paddle boarding are two sports that can be done all over Ireland including Dublin. These trips are not to be missed! Kiteboarding lessons and paddle boarding short trips also available in Dublin’s Poolbeg and grand canal dock. Could not recommend Bigstyle more!

M. J.I went on the Kitesurfing trip to Sri Lanka in 2015 and it was fantaaaastic. Chris is a great host, adaptable, intuitive and bonkers. The kiting was great, especially the trip up to Dutch Bay, a flat water spot on one side of a sand spit and ocean on the other. Big style and Hooked Kitesurfing have subsequently gone back to Sri Lanka twice a year since and have found the best accommodation/spot on the lagoon and a couple of dream spots. Chris has an armour plating of irresponsibility, its a veneer, inside there's a methodical genius hooning around.
R. M.Kris and his crew are great characters and make kiting and SUPing, which can be daunting to many, a fun and easy experience. A great day out and a great intro to watersports for the less experienced among us.

C. M.I've been on three trips down the Liffey with BigStyle, 2 were at the crack of dawn and the last one was a dusky affair. To say it is a magical journey is an understatement. It's fantastic! I first thought that I would need some level of ability or proficiency in having balance, like a skateboarder or surfer, but it didn't. It was super simple, relaxing and i've not fallen in yet. (we were all supplied with life jackets, just incase!). Paddling beneath the Hal'penny bridge was unreal though, it's at this stage that you hear the chatter of the people on the bridge above, and snaps are taken. So if you get on board, ensure you look up a few related hashtags on Instagram afterwards. you may be trending! Anyway, I couldn't recommend these guys enough :)
M. T.We met up with Kris in Mayo at end of last year. Great set up, kiting on the Lake, kiting on the sea and then a hike up Croagh Patrick. All in a Shtyles days work.
