Great facility. Well managed for the vaccine roll out. All staff pleasant and look after you. Very experienced people and make people of all ages feel at ease.

Got the covid vaccine here. Queing outside, lucky the weather was fine. I hope the weather is fine for everyone else. Plenty of parking spaces. And there is closer parking reserved for elderly and the disabled.

Redicous limerick city people have to go out so far for a covid booster or vaccine it's a joke plenty of places not being used they could use to accommodate limerick city people

I live locally so go racing as often as I can to Limerick racecourse. I went up last Saturday October 19th & would like to post some items, some good, some not so good : Good. 1. I applaud the effort in adding some music & it seemed to go down very well......but ( see below ).... 2. I'm a Senior / OAP so like having a fiver off the entrance fee....bringing it down to €13 which is reasonable. 3. I like the idea of changing caterers to bring fresh ideas ( service staff in blue for better visibility ).....but ( see below ).... 4. I like the banter provided by the commentator on the tanoy. I recognize him from Limerick Junction races & he is quite knowledgeable & knows his stuff generally.....but ( see below)...... NOT SO GOOD 1. The bars don't serve Heineken & this is a problem as I generally only drink Heineken & Guinness ( not to be touched outside of well frequented pubs ). The alternatives were Rockshore ( wouldn't give it to my dog if I had one ) or Carlsberg....so I ordered one pint of Carlsberg in the bar downstairs ( where no one was drinking ) which was awful...I drank half & left it. I ordered a 2nd pint later upstairs ( where the music was ) & it was OK. 2. Back to point 1 in GOOD above : The music was on at the same time as the racing which was annoying as I couldn't hear the commentary when I was inside. Surely racing should be the priority above all else. Also the sound quality of the music was terrible. 3. Back to point 3 in GOOD above : The sausages were not very hot & I missed the bakewell cakes which The Woodlands used provide ! 4. Back to point 4 in GOOD above.....He actually referred to one of JP's horses called LUIMNEACH as "LUMNISH". Incredible. If this was one of our friends from across the Irish Sea it would be understandable but from someone with an Irish ( Tipp ? ) accent it was unforgiveable. He also referred to the races as "here in Cork" & "here in Tipperary" on a few occasions. No more words from me on that !! Overall I had 4 winners from Limerick & Ascot so can't complain but some tidying up to do & I look forward to attending one or more of the meetings over Christmas....while eating a bakewell cake with a decent pint of lager & listening to Mr Tipp welcoming in a winning horse I'll have backed at 10/1. If the above happens I don't care how he pronounces the horse. Cant wait !

Great evening out with fantastic hospitality and drinks. Limerick Racecourse is very accessible and their evening meetings in the summer make it a great activity with friends or work crowd. The food and drink offering is also very good with the tote team around regularly to take bets.

Went to an antique fair at Limerick race course wonderful experience the fair is organised by Robin O'DONNELL large amount of dealers wonderful displays of antiques large and small, the lady serving buns and beautiful coffee was a delight to talk to Limerick race course itself looked lovely I would recommend going to the antiques fair as the fair will be back there several times during the year I may even attend a days racing there

Was here for an awards ceremony, which was absolutely fantastic, caters were great as was the atmosphere. I'm loathed to take any stars off as it was a great event but I feel I must for the accessibility. To access the event room there was a large number of steps, so I had to be brought around by the rear of the building and enter in at ground level. Going in was fine because we were escorted by security to show us the way (really lovely guy) but there was no one there at the end of the night. So had to figure it out ourselves. It was out of the way to get from the front to the event room, but the main issue was the ramp gradient. It's fantastic that ramps are put in but one thing everyone forgets is the gradient. Too step and gravity takes you and you have to take care not to roll down too fast! This was the case here, I had to hold the breaks and still I thought I was going to fall! Apart from that everything was great.

Its an impressive facility for horse racing. The car park and entryway could benefit from some more impressive signage and branding. Areas of the inside of the main buildings are starting to show signs of wear.
