Attended a junior hurling match on Friday between Clonea and De La Salle. Surface was immaculate and it made for good fast play . Plenty of space for social distancing in the stand and on the terraces. Well refereed and good stewarding.

Resident living three blocks away. Have been to a number of games over the last 30 years.
The Stand is something to take in especially when packed. The potential is huge here, what the GAA choses to do? Remains a to be seen.
Unfortunatly parking outside my home, neighbours & all along the streets towards Walsh Park is a real intrusion, blocking gate, drive ways & making the paths impassable especially for anyone with prams or buggys. The Convent grounds across from Walsh Park would have made fantastic Parking.

Last Sunday at Walsh Park a Galway Supporter got ill,She was very well taken care off by the Medical Staff and Stewards. Many thanks to Dr O Mahony and all at the Park. She is now home and is now fully recovered .Again many thanks to all in Waterford and also to the staff in Dooleys Hotel who served breakfast to the bus load of supporters.Good luck to the Waterford hurlers in the Munster Championship and i will leave it at that.Joe

Miserable place displaying scant regard for GAA fans. A minority of spectators have shelter from the rain. The terraces are covered in fine gravel and no steps. It is awful.

The home of Waterford Hurling.
Underdeveloped GAA grounds. Could do with a new stand on the opposite side of the main stand.
Wooden seats so you won't get cold when watching matches.
Residential area so try find parking away from the grounds and walk a bit.

Would give it a 5 star if the county board would do a decent job on turning it into a proper ground instead of having a split county.

Parking is not great as the ground is in a residential area. Good atmosphere.
