I own an '02 Peugeot and I didn't give myself much of a chance of passing the NCT this morning. I was charged $180 for the full service by Advance Pitstop and that included fixing a problem with the wipers. This is my fourth time going to them and I always found the lads there to be reliable, honest and very up-front about the problems my car has had. I also find them to be the most competitively priced garage in Clonmel and I have had dealings with other garages. You are told the estimated price up front and they text you if it's going to be more. That was very important to me as I don't have a lot of money to spend on my car. They also tell you about the problems coming down the track and that's brilliant because you can budget for it before it becomes a crisis. I passed the NCT this morning (my 2nd time with this car thanks to Advance) and I know that the tyres, the brake pads and the clutch have to be done for next year already. In short, I find them professional, courteous and brilliant to deal with. I respect anyone who decides to put up a review but the experience I had has been nothing but excellent. Thanks, lads. Much appreciated and delighted ye got me the NCT against the odds. See ye in 6 months for the tyres! A special thanks to Dmitri across the road as well. He's in there by the car wash. He re-installed another airbag in my car for $120 and was recommended by Advance. I can see why. He's a top man and very competitive for the electronic issues with a car. Cheers, Dmitri!
