Bernard was the kindest host, giving us a thorough tour of his private, family-owned museum. The artifacts and history stories he had were incredible, and I would recommend this museum to anyone. He helped us find our family crest. A beautiful way to get to know Ireland.

As you can see from previous reviews, the owner is mentioned alot and that's because he really takes the experience to a new level with his shared energy and passion into the history. The museum itself is packed with great historical artifacts and caption. It's a must see indeed!

The perfect stop for Irish history. Amazing collection and artifacts of the rebellion. Artifacts that I have not seen anywhere. I got great pictures and will plan for a second return next time I'm in Cashel. Visiting the Rock of Cashel then Cashel Folk Village and Food and Drinks at Mickey Ryan's made for the perfect day!

Fascinating museum. Privately run by Bernard who has lived in Cashel all his life and brings the history of the area to life. Don't miss the story of the bog butter. Wonderful artefacts and rooms focussed on Irish history including the 1916 uprising, potato famine etc.

(Translated) Inn on the outskirts, cozy lounges, beautiful conservatory, the ambience very appealing. The kitchen down to earth with no particularly outstanding dishes that you can not get anywhere else. Rather long waiting times, the staff only average friendly. Overall, not bad with some downsides. Poor parking in the area.
(Original)

(Translated) The museum is small but contains several real testimonies especially of the period of the independence war of 1916, a small session on the Great Famine and of the trades in use over 100 years ago, to see.
