Wow. This museum is really beautiful. So informative and interesting on our heritage and our relationships with horses. I loved my time spent traveling through time and watching the epic wins through racing history. What a collection. Easy 5 stars would give 6 if I could.

I enjoyed my visit to the Fethard Horse Country Experience. This place gives an excellent history of the local area and is a world-class exhibit. The introductory video is informative, well edited, and aesthetically pleasing. The lady in charge is pleasant, informative and helpful. Exhibits are well lit and easy to follow, and, there is a good balance between text and video. My visit was pleasant and I recommend Fethard Horse Country Experience without reservation.

Really interesting! Small museum with interactive displays on archeology & history of the town & area. Astonishing to see the skeleton of the infamous Saddlers Wells.

Very enjoyable and informative. Not only the horse racing aspect but also the history of the town. There aren't a lot of artifacts but the audio visual display is of a standard that more than makes up for it.

I’m a local, and ashamed to admit that it took me over a year before I made it my business to venture in and check this place out for myself. I’m seriously impressed! The renovations carried out and the money invested in the facilities/displays is incredible. The quality of the multimedia displays is out of this world with plenty of interactive screens. Apparently the people responsible for the displays in The titanic experience and the Guinness storehouse are the ones responsible for this. Plenty of information about the history of Fethard and it’s long history with horses. Spent over an hour there and took my time and I still didn’t catch everything. I will most definitely be back again! Very reasonably priced too!

This beautiful historic town is a wonder for anyone who appreciates the story of the past as told through architecture and artefacts. Walk through the town and you are sure to have friendly encounters with the local people. There are so many surprises for the explorer, make sure to look up and beyond to see what's hidden, visit the Abbey, see the ancient Sile na Gig, stroll along the river by yourself or someone you love, embraced by nature. Stand for a moment and imagine what it was like to live here then and envy those who live there now.

Distinctive new visitor attraction located in the restored Tholsel building of Fethard, Co Tipperary. Describes the heritage of the horse as an element of Irish culture, within both national and local contexts. Using state of the art interpretative techniques, visitors of all ages and backgrounds will gain an appreciation of the particular significance of horse breeding in the culture and economy of Fethard. Well informed and welcoming guides together with a small, but pleasant café complete a very enjoyable visitor experience.
